Chapter Twenty-Four

Normani's POV

"Where'd Laur go?" I asked sitting down beside Dinah.

Dinah looked up at me and frowned in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"She was talking to you and then she disappeared. Where'd she go?" I asked.

"Inside to help Walz." She said, shifting Rosie in her arms as the baby began to cry.

"Oh okay." I said, nodding. I threw a ball across the yard and the four dogs chased after it, growling playfully at each other.

"Mammy, Hazel is crying." Scarlett said, her expression worried.

I got up and walked over to Hazel, sitting down on the grass beside her. "Haz, what's wrong?" I asked softly, pulling her into my arms.

Hazel curled into my arms and let out a sob, her head buried in my neck. I could tell it was going to be one of her bad days.

I sighed and rubbed her back, kissing the top of her head softly.

The back door opened and Camila walked outside, her hand interlaced with Lauren's.

Lauren had a tired look on her face but she acted like she was fine. I knew she was tired, sex always tires her out.

I watched as they sat down, Camila pulling Lauren onto her lap.

Lauren leaned against Camila's shoulder and closed her eyes.

Hazel shifts in my arms and lets out a soft whine. "Sleep." She mumbled.

"Okay." I said softly, getting up off the ground and carrying her inside. I took her to her bedroom.

I gently lay her down on her bed and she immediately curled up against her stuffed Nala.

I sat with her until she fell asleep. Once she was asleep, I went back outside.

"Was she okay?" Dinah asked as I sat down beside her.

"Just having one of her bad days." I shrugged. "She'll be fine when she wakes up."

Nodding, Dinah grabbed my hand. "They all seem to have fallen asleep." She giggled.

Looking around the yard, I notice all of the kids were laying in certain spots, fast asleep.

I nodded. "So they have. And so has Lauren." I motioned to Lauren's sleeping form on Camila's lap.

"And Camila." She responds, nodding toward Camila, her head was against Lauren's and her eyes closed.

"They are so adorable when they sleep." I mumbled absentmindedly.

Dinah turned to look at me, "The kids or Laur and Mila?"

"All of them." I stated.

"How are we going to get everyone inside?" She asked in confusion.

Two days later

Camila was standing in the doorway to mine and Dinah's room, her eyes watching my every movement.

"Camila, it's rude to stare." I giggled, running my fingers through my hair.

A smile grew on her lips before she walked into the room, shutting the door and locking it.

I frowned. "What are you doing?" I asked.

Instead of answering, she walked over and pulled me into a rough kiss, her hands roaming over my hips.

I kissed her back, moaning as she rocked her hips against mine.
