LOVE OR?

Chapter-14

It was time to meet the caterer and this time I included ben and stacey also for the tasting of the dishes. It was a really big chef making our wedding feast. Again a twinkle in my eyes as I saw what all the chef prepared for all of us. We all four sat down on the table and I asked veni to join us but she refused and told me to carry on as she's full.

The dinner was just perfect but Ben seemed at a discomfort level. I don't know why, maybe because he just had too much to eat.

"So let's begin. We have two types of salad's with different dressings recommended by the chef." Veni said. We all took few portions of both the salads and I loved it when I ate it. "I really love the first one." Stacey said and Ben seemed to agree with her but I and Kyle shook our heads and appreciated the second one. The final decision was to choose the first one with the dressing of the second one. "A marvelous idea" I said as Kyle thought of it. We all tried this combination and loved it.

"We just have italian soup as a choice for the soups." Veni said. As it was served, its fragrance took my breath away. As I took a sip, I decided no one else's opinion mattered in this but everyone loved the soup. "Yes for the soup." I said and veni smiled and said "let's move on then".

"Next on to the starters- we have all these choices" Veni said again. "I really love this chicken and beef thing. Can we have that?" Kyle said and Ben agreed with his choice this time and Stacey nodded her head in a yes. "What do you think Kyra?" Ben asked. I replied in a "meh" but then I didn't like any of the starters so we went with those two options.

I noticed one thing. Ben and Stacey didn't make an eye contact at all, neither they talked. Very unusual. They both used to love pulling each other's leg. While I looked at Kyle, he looked so adorable in that suit, perfect for the evening.

A tension among the group but we all tried to enjoy the delicious food served to us.

"Moving onto the main course, we have canadian lobster, duck and pig. You can choose any two if them" Veni said.

We all started digging in the food with our knives and forks. "This lobster is so good, perfectly good." Kyle said and rest all agreed with a nod. "And the same can be said for the duck and pig." Ben said in reply. It was hard to choose and we voted on duck and the lobster.

"Desserts, we have red velvet cake, chocolate pudding and marshmallows dipped in chocolate, try them all select any two." veni said again.
"Marshmallows and red velvet!" I and Stacey shouted out together no doubt in that, but we still digged in as the boys looked at us and laughed at out behaviour.

We might have looked like kids who just love marshmallows dipped in chocolate and it really brought out some memories.

The food is done as I was relieved of one more part of the wedding. Now just dresses, flowers and music was left and all the invitations and also the guest list. Oh my god! So much more to do and just two and half months left.

We all enjoyed our dinner fully satisfied and I think I have never eaten so much in my life before, and specially after what all has been done. I am lucky to be alive right now.

"So we meet on coming Monday in my office to discuss the cutlery and the music, enjoy your evening." Veni said. I got up hugged her and thanked her for everything.

"So let's go back to our apartment, we will enjoy a little and then you can leave and it's only 8 right now, it's not like any of you has any plans." I said to Kyle and Stacey. Stacey refused at first but somehow I convinced her. "It's been so long we have hung out together" Kyle said and even Ben insisted "c'mon it will be fun" and she agreed.

We took our cars and started heading towards our apartment. I put in some coffee for everyone, while everyone sat on the couch, Stacey came in the kitchen to help me, while the boys they were on the television watching game.

"I need to tell you something" Stacey said.

"Yeah sure. But I am telling you, we are going for dress shopping tomorrow. You will be the maid of honour, Kate (office friend), Kylie (ben's sister), Nadia (my sister) will be bridesmaids "I told her as I poured out coffee in the cups.

"So, you were saying something" I asked her again.

"I wanted to say, you are going to be the most beautiful bride anyone has ever seen." she said and I hugged her. It was so sweet what she said.

We brought out the coffee and boys sat quietly on the couch, as if they were never watching the game.

I bought out some pudding we brought home from dinner and some old photos, I recently found.

After having a blast of time, it was time to clean so Kyle decided to help me out first in the dishes then keeping back the stuff. I told him I could do it, but he never listens. A photo fell down as I was keeping back the box, he picked it up. I didn't wanted him to see that.

It was the time I was in love with him and he never knew, it brought out all the old feelings. As he looked at it, it reminded him of something also I guess. "You still have this, remember that day, we were almost about to kiss each other at the dance?" he said.

"I remember" I replied and it was in that moment I felt like that moment has returned.

We kissed and it was the most passionate kiss I ever had, like fireworks around me, butterflies in my belly like nothing ever changed and that feeling came back. We pulled out and we looked at each other. "I am so sorry, I will go" Kyle said. "NO! Wait, it was both of our faults, let's just forget it" I said and he agreed. I convinced him but I couldn't convince myself about the feeling of Kyle with me as mine.

Stacey and Kyle took off shortly, a mood of tension and I decided to directly head off to bed.
