Every Rose Needs The Rain Sometime

Preperations

*Few days later*

Prince and I were holding auditions for people to join my band on tour I was so exhausted I still had to find dancers and then my album release was soon and my tour started the following week just so much to do. I threw my head back "this is all so much" "its always overwhelming in the beginning just relax" he said rubbing my leg "I need some coffee" "I will go get it for you" "um no caffeine will affect your performance going on tour you already know your gonna have to have your diet right..have tea instead" I sighed "send in the next person please" After reviewing over everybody that showed up I think i chose a pretty good band "I don't know I kinda like the other drummer better" P said "Well I like this one babe I trust your decisions but just let me make my own for MY band please" "ok babe just want the best for you ..so now dancers what do you wanna do?" "well actually I was thinking..we could get the girls back since our chemistry is good together on stage and we built a bond I think it just flows..I know their your dancers but I don't see why you can't share" "well don't you wanna try new people" "no because I already know how they work and how good they are" "if that's what you want i'll give them a call" "thank you" I sipped my tea and got my stuff together.

I was now at the gym running on the treadmill I had to keep myself up and I wanted to look just as good as I did on Princes tour. Carmen had been helping me to train and Prince had hired someone to keep my diet healthy and balanced after the gym today I also had rehearsals and tomorrow was my album release party so with all this chaos and busyness the gym was a good place to relieve this stress. "Five more minutes keep pushing! Rose your gonna be on top this is your year!" she said motivating me to push through "Woo!" I finished slowing my run down to a walk and Carmen handed me my water bottle "good job" "thank you" "you ready for rehearsals?!" "super excited to get the show in order and see how it's gonna turn out and the girls are excited to get back together" "Prince was able to get Diamond, Pearl, and even Susan to join the show they were more than happy to do so I didn't need many dancers really because well I was the main one and it wasn't that type of show. I got off the treadmill and we started to do a few more floor exercises and stretches finishing it. "The car is here to take you to rehearsals" I nodded grabbing my gym bag and going to the car with Carmen.

I walked into rehearsals seeing Prince watching the band and dancers I walked over "hey babe" I said kissing his cheek "hey you ready to run everything." I nodded getting myself together setting my guitar and piano up "from the top 5,6,7,8!" The music started and we all just jumped right into it and they did great I love the energy the band gave off to match mine and the dancers of course fit right in as well as I knew.

I watched as Rose did her thing she's been killing these rehearsals along with the crew they are all getting to know each other and growing a bond with each other. She's getting the hang of things and I love just watching her take over in her element and do her thing she was such a boss and it was turning me on I couldn't wait to see how this all played out on tour and how people were gonna react to the show. Seeing her become exactly what I envisioned and knew she would and just watching her turn her dreams into a reality made me truly proud honestly.

"Alright everybody take a break then were gonna run the whole thing full out with the uniforms and so on" "Jane" I said walking over to my drummer "can you add a little bit of snare here " she nodded going over the part adding what I asked her too "perfect good job everybody!" I walked off going to take my break I went to go sit with Prince at the edge of the stage "what do you think?" "I like it your doing good but I wanna tweak something to the dance routine." I sighed I know it's hard for him to not have complete control but I just thought it wouldn't hurt to listen what he said. He got on the stage helping me up calling the other dancers over adding in his input. We followed his direction "More Diamond.." he walked over to me shaking his head "Rose! pick it up! more!" I took a deep breath dancing harder with the other girls
