Today was the day of my interview on Wendy Williams..I was hoping I could keep it together because I just know somewhere in between I would be asked about Prince  and we haven't shared with the world that we are broken up not that it's there business but I am sure as time went on they would figure out..oh how oh so happy would little Mayte would be so happy..and I know of course the fans and everyone who loved us together would be sad..I really thought this would work. Going through this and looking back I almost lost my deal with the record company for bringing in a bad image I've calmed down a little bit as you could say. I looked in the mirror as I was getting ready all this stress and sadness was causing me to gain a little weight and and what Prince did was making me sick to my stomach I just felt depressed and alone. I kissed Cleo and Daisy bye giving them food and water then I got my stuff together and went outside to my to see the driver waiting for me by the door. He opened it letting me in and off to the Wendy Williams show I went.

I was waiting behind the scenes waiting for my introduction "This next woman defines sexy, she's got it all, talent, beauty ,she can dance sing you name it please welcome the beautiful miss Cherry Gem" I walked out waving to the crowd putting a fake smile on. I hugged Wendy and we sat down 

W:how you doinn?

R: Im good Wendy how are you

W: I'm fabulous I see you are too let's put shoe cam on miss rose here

they zoomed in on my shoes and the audience clapped

W: So you just ended tour and your album has been out i'm sure a lot has happened on tour care to share what it was like?

R: This was my first tour and i'm super grateful I got to have the experience you have your ups and downs you learn and grow so I got the hang of things as well it was a good experience.

W:Now as we all know you kinda had this different look and sound in the beginning vs when you first started then towards the end of your tour you changed a lot what was that about and how did you feel when people reacted negatively?

R: I did that because well it's just what I wanted to do me stepping outside the box and for how people reacted not everyone is gonna like what you do sometimes you just wanna see how far you can go with things but then again I had a bunch of fans and people who loved it so at the end of the day people are gonna talk regardless it doesn't matter to me you either love me or hate me*shrugs*

W:That's right girl! So I must ask I read somewhere that you took a trip to the hospital we were all worried about you

R: Yeah I had a little...accident mixed with exhaustion but I am fine now so no worries back to myself.

W: Now you know we all must ask everybody loooves you and Prince you two are both georgeous, sexy talented people and his fans seemed to react well to you but we noticed on social media he was out with another woman not only that but we know your music reflects you and lately the songs we've been hearing sound like break up or heart breaking songs they kind of sound like the way your original songs are you use to sing are things between Mr and Mrs okay?. 

R: umm well you know we just like to keep things personal but she was just a friend to my understanding. As for my music I will always have that original sound I had and sing my old songs and continue writing songs like it I write whats real and thise songs couodve been written for something a close friend if mine was going through ya know. As I said before you just experiment and my experiements came out great.

W: well there we have it you must be excited for the wedding! do we have a date

R: not yet..

W: well okayy then coming up special performances by Gem herself....stay tuned!
