Family. The love we have for our family never changes, whether they are a sweet little child, not more than 5 or a sociopath whose aim in life is to ruin everything. Sure we would claim to despise them, and we may even feel the fiery passions of hatred, but there will still be love, deep deep down.

My family isn't sociopathic or children but they are idiots and I still love them.

I was happy when the so-called brunch date got cut short and I came home, I was thrilled when I could lounge about the house and no one was there to annoy me and I was ecstatic when I found Jo had made burgers for me for lunch.

The joy was cut short when the stupid wolf barged into my house with his sister and her mate and practically assaulted me, hugged me like his life depended on it. Now I knew better than to push the wolf away and anger him but the smell that was coming from him. I knew the smell of dried blood well, and I knew the smell of the blood on him. The smell of vampire blood is distinct enough, the smell of my brothers family I knew by heart.

That idiot got caught by the most ferocious pack that hates vampires. They can't kill him, but they most definitely will find out about my kind. The kind of torture they will put Sei under, I really hope they aren't as bad as I am.

After I threw them out of the house the first thing I did was call Jeb. My cover is going to be blown so I could save my family and I needed to see if he had any other ideas. I rushed to my room and with my phone on loudspeaker and I waited for Jeb to pick up, finally, I heard the receiver switch on.

"Stupid Seiji has been caught by the Nights pack. I can't blow my cover but I don't know how else to get him out of this situation." I growl while I throw my phone on the bed and tuck in my Punisher shirt.

I reach under the bed and grab my bag with my weapons when Xan replies.

"I expected that to happen, the Alpha is your mate. It will be easier to save Sei if you just tell them who you are. He will come to know eventually."

"Hey, Xan, where is Jeb?" I ask tucking my Glock into the back of my pants and throwing on my black leather jacket to cover up the gun.

"He will tell you about it later. We trained Sei better than this, he would not have gotten caught this easy, something else is up."

I paused for a moment and realized what he said is true, Sei is most definitely not an idiot, contrary to what I believe, why did he get caught so easily. We trained him to be able to avoid wolves even if he crossed into pack borders.

"I'll figure it out, pretending I don't know shit is also starting to piss me off." I complain placing two silver daggers inside the hidden pockets of my jacket.

"He is your mate he will look after you, but if you still don't want to him to know who you are, there is someone else you can talk to, to get Sei back."

"A wonderful idea, tell me who this other person is." I ask flopping back down on my bed.

"His father, Elias, will remember you from the Australian incident. He will want to keep you as far from the pack as he could." He mused.

"You are a genius, love you loads, bye." I spring up and place my phone in my pocket.

I run down and out to the back all the way over to the fence. I leaned against it and called out into the forest. I could feel the she-wolf and her mate a little past the trees.
