He picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder as she laughed.
“Gajeel,” she giggled as he gently set her down on a chair in the kitchen.
He found an apron, putting it on. Even though he tied it as loose as it could go, it was still tight, and accentuated his muscles, something Levy enjoyed. She laughed at how he looked in the bright pink apron.
“How do you like your eggs?” he asked as he dug through her kitchen for the necessary supplies.
“Fried and lightly seasoned,” she replied.
He smiled, “coming right up.”
As the pair cooked and ate breakfast their fellow guild members noticed their absence.
“Has anyone seen Gajeel lately? He hasn't been in his normal corner, sulking,” Natsu observed.
“Yeah, it has been strange. And Jet and Droy are out here without Levy, which is a weird occurrence,” Gray replied.
“Eh, it must be nothing,” Natsu shrugged, “there's no way they can be together, right?”
“Yeah, no way,” Gray replied.

This was how they kept their time together secret, the first few weeks Gajeel spent almost all of his free time in Levy’s room, until he was spending some time in her room one day and asked, “I basically spend all my time in here, is there any way I can move in? Unless you think it's too small for the both of us, but I don't have much stuff anyway,” he over explained due to his nerves.
“Sure,” she shrugged, “It won't be much of a difference from how the past few weeks anyway. I'll talk to master Makarov about it and let him know.”
“Okay, thanks Levy.”

She walked up to the old man who was a father to her, awkwardly.
“What's on your mind Levy?” he asked, able to tell something was bugging her.
“I just wanted to tell you that Gajeel has moved in with me and won't be needing his room,” she explained, hoping for approval from the master.
He smiled, “I knew he'd fit in, and he hasn't been going back to his old ways?”
She shook her head, “He's been good, don't worry,” she smiled sweetly.

When she got back, Gajeel was preparing to leave.
“So you got a job?” Levy asked, worried.
“Yeah, I did. I'm sorry to leave on such short notice, I just need the money,” he said as he slung his bag over his shoulder.
“It's okay, I just don't want you to get hurt, and from what I heard it's a difficult job. Are you sure I shouldn't come with you? Or any team for that matter, it's better than going yourself.”
“I'll be fine, Levy, you don't have to worry about me. I am a dragon slayer after all,” he explained walking towards the door.
“Okay, I love you Gajeel,” she said, flustered.
He stopped just before the door, turning to face her.
“If you don't come back I don't want to never have the chance to tell you that,” she continued.
“I love you too, Levy,” he replied before walking out the door.
