Oo, sabihin mo ng cliché pero the best talaga ang rooftop para maglunch break(and a place to stay while skipping class).
But don’t get me wrong.
That was Friday and today is Monday.
Oo, may bench dito, at may bubong pa dito kaya no need to worry for sunburn.
Only to figure out that I was grinning with no concrete reason.
In the midst of my thoughts of why, miracle send sleep to visit my needing mind and body.
Ace’s POV
I always tell them they’re weird but they counter me with the answer they idolize me.
“Your smiling” Mom said incredulously.
“While blushing” Jet added dreamily.
And here comes Death to ruin the moment with her usual monotonous voice. “Like a mutt”
And here I am, raising my right eyebrows as high as I could so they could figure that I am totally confuse of what the hell is wrong with me smiling. Yet, they were still looking at me, not even blinking.
To break the freezing ice that is keeping them from moving, I decided to talk first. “First of all I’m not the cold type of a guy who would keep a grumpy, poker face all day. And second, it’s not my fault if my porcelain skin is so sensitive from the heat of the sun that gives me long lasting red cheeks.”
Finally Death had her mind more functioning unlike the other two. “Yuck! You sound so gay! Porcelain skin? Seriously?”
“Just stating the fact” I answered her stupid question.
“You don’t have to beat around the bushes dear, you could just tell us the name of the girl and we won’t bother sending you commentaries.” Mom.
