"It's for my boyfriend. It's our anniversary."

My heart shattered in two. Who could've taken my (Y/n)?!

(Y/n) walked up to her boyfriend's front door and unlocked it with the key he kept under the mat.

She was smiling, and was visibly excited for her anniversary, even though she really shouldn't have been...

Her boyfriend, who was really really ugly, opened the front door. He obviously hasn't brushed his nasty brown hair and had probably even forgotten about the anniversary.

But a sweet girl like (Y/n) deserved better.

Oh, and by the way, this isn't in third person. It's just me, Juuzou. Hi.

Following (Y/n) to this jerk's house was a great idea. Like, a great idea.

It broke me a little bit more when (Y/n) let that guy kiss her. 'I was supposed to be her first...' I thought. But now was not the time! I have to break them up!

While they were busy kissing, I snuck in through the front door that that stupid jerk left open. How dare he leave that door open like that in a house he intended to let (Y/n) into; a killer could sneak in and hurt her while she was there!

I hid behind the kitchen counter, which was in the room opposite to the living room, so I had a good view of the couch.

(Y/n) and that jerk walked in, both laughing and smiling, arm in arm. Then, they sat down on the couch.

(Y/n) handed him the gift she got him, and he smiled and hugged her... he doesn't deserve the gift OR the hug...

He grabbed something from under the couch and gave it to her. "For you, my dear."

(Y/n) squealed and glomped him when she saw it. A silver necklace with little blue flowers on it. Well, I bet she hates it! Plus, she's still wearing the necklace I gave her, so she obviously likes that better!

But then she did something horrible...

She took off my necklace and put on that jerk's necklace.

I smiled and was about to put on Raito's necklace... when I noticed that I already had one on. Juuzou's necklace.

I don't know why I never took it off, but it was time to do so now. I had to try really hard not to get angry in front of Raito, because the thought of what Juuzou did made me despise my life more and more every time.

So I gently took off Juuzou's necklace and put Raito's on.
I heard a soft growl from the kitchen.

Did Raito have a cat?

Impossible. I live here with Raito. If he had a cat, I would know about it.

Raito picked up the necklace that I had taken off and examined it.

He looked a little hurt, " 'Property of Juuzou'?"

I nodded and gave a sheepish smile, "I had a really possessive friend when I lived at the CCG."

"Really possessive?!" Shrieked a voice from the kitchen. Raito and I both snapped our heads towards the noise and stood up quickly.

I couldn't help but giggle at the fact that both of us were trying to hide the other behind them to protect them. It was cute how he thought he could protect me better than I could protect him.

And then, something terrible...

Guess who was behind the kitchen counter?

(A/N: Ha! I lied about Juuzou being depressed! Really, he's Juuzou... he's not exactly the type who would get depressed.
