(Y/n) was tired.

Out of every other horrible thing she's experienced in her captivity, the sleeplessness had to be the worse.
Ayato wouldn't let her sleep.

He made every second he was with her a living hell, and she knew he enjoyed it... and something in her was beginning to snap.

God, she hoped she wouldn't develop Stockholm Syndrome. That would bring the story to a whole different ending she wasn't prepared for at all.
The first thing - the only thing - she had told herself when she was caught snooping around by Ayato, was that she wouldn't develop Stockholm Syndrome.
She couldn't do that to herself.

She couldn't do that to Juuzou.

Ha, she was going insane... hadn't she already been enough of a wackadoo? She had started getting more and more okay with Ayato's visits, and seeming more and more cheerful with every second.

Her bittersweet smile was a lie in itself.

All she could do at this point was endure the pain while she hoped Juuzou would get to her before her mind was compelled to choose Ayato.

On the other hand, Juuzou wasn't getting much sleep either, but for a different reason.
How could he possibly sleep when he knew his (Y/n) was somewhere out there being hurt by Ayato.

No, that's wrong; he didn't know she was being hurt. In fact, for all he knew, (Y/n) could have killed Ayato and run away... but his heart told him that wasn't the case.

Juuzou was hurt beyond belief, but not physically like (Y/n) was... well, maybe a little, but that was self-inflicted, so he didn't count that.

Touka was steadily becoming more and more distant from him, trying her hardest to keep her innocent daughter from seeing the horrors of the real world.

And Kaneki? What could he possibly do but help?

This was all wrong.
Everything was wrong.

And now Juuzou sat on his bed, thinking out his new plan before going out once again to search for his girlfriend.

"When I find her", he whispered into the darkness of their room, "I'm going to marry her and never let her go again."

But he was tired.
