CHAPTER 24: ALONE AND SCARED

Jungkook gets to Jieun's house ten minutes after he leaves. Jieun lives close by, so him running cut the trip even shorter.

Now they're in bed, watching Tv until they get tired because Jungkook is sleeping over- the usual.

They're cuddled up together, lying down. Jieun's head rest on his chest while his hand is wrapped around her.

"Why did you take so long?"

Jungkook blurts out the answer without thinking, "I was with Y/N."

Jieun looks up at him with a glare, jealous for obvious reasons.

"Of course you were," she mutters and then moves away, annoyed.

Jungkook frowns, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just want to sleep."

Jungkook pulls on her arm, twisting her body around so she could face him, "You always do that. Don't ignore the subject and stay mad. Talk to me about it."

Jieun sits up, angry, "You want me to talk? Fine, I'll talk. I'm annoyed and jealous of Y/N."

Jungkook forgets about TV or any form of entertainment around him, "Wait, what?"

Jieun sighs.

You notice the hickey on Taehyung's throat when he sticks his tongue out at you, his mock expression too close to your face. He was teasing you about how you can't flare your nostrils.
You freeze when you see it. It's purple, right next to his Adam's apple.

You're mad.

"Nice hickey," you say.

Taehyung stops his mocking and steps back. His face turns a bit red and he gives out a nervous laughter, "Is it noticeable?"

You roll your eyes, "It looks like a bruise made with a baseball." And you keep walking.
Taehyung follows right after, catching up to you quickly because of his long legs.

"Was it that red hoodie girl from the bus stop yesterday?" You ask, not even needing a confirmation.

"Her name is Soyeon. She's in our grade."

Great, like I wanted to know, you think.

"Did you have fun with her?" You force a smirk, "Were your perverted needs satisfied?"

Taehyung doesn't notice the tone in your voice and he answers casually, "Couldn't. It turns out it still hurts when I'm touched down there. She barely grabbed it and I was whimpering." He laughs a little, you don't. "So we just kissed and it turned into this," he points at his hickey, "But that's all."

You stay quiet.

It's silent on his part until he speaks up two minutes later.

"I asked her out on a date," he says. He wants to know what you think about that. Your reaction- he wants to see it.

"I thought what you did was a 'date'."

Taehyung shakes his head, once again ignoring your obvious irritated and disapproving tone.

"No, That was more like some sort of hook up," he says. "But then I actually had fun so I thought of meeting her again. She's a lot more than what I thought."

You listen.

"I kind of like her, actually," he continues, "She's pretty, she's smart, she's sweet, and very feminine. She giggles like a kid and I love it. She's also really good in bed as far as we got. Not to mention, she seems mature. And her body! I love her body."
