As we were walking along to Panera in our big group, I kept looking over my shoulder because I thought someone was following us.

"You alright?" Daniel asked me as I looked back again for the tenth time.

"Um, I think so. I just have this feeling that we're being followed." I replied looking down at the pavement.

"It might just be limelights. Don't worry." Daniel assured me.

I looked over my shoulder again but I couldn't tell if anyone was following us because there were  people everywhere. We went inside Panera and sat at table to fit all seven of us. Corbyn and Christina sat next to each other. I sat on the other side of Christina and Daniel sat next to me. Jonah, Jack and Zach sat across from us.

Jack and Zach were mucking around while Jonah was looking at his phone. Corbyn and Christina were talking about something so that left Daniel and I to talk to each other.

"I think I'm gonna order. Anyone wanna join?" I stood up from the cold metal chair.

"I'll come." Daniel stood up after me.

I turned around and bumped into really tall guy. I looked up and I was about to apologise but the guy spoke first.

"My bad, princess." The guy licked his lips like he was about to eat me.

"It's alright. No harm done." I gave a small smile before I went to line up.

I thought we were going to part ways like normal strangers do, but the guy knocked me down with his buff shoulder. I heard Christina gasp.

"Oh sorry, beautiful." He bit his bottom lip and went to help me up but Daniel got there first.

"Thanks Dani." I smiled at him and he placed his hand on my lower back.

"You okay?" He asked and I just nodded.

I walked away with Daniel who still had his hand on my lower back. I looked over my shoulder at the guy and he was staring at my butt. I rolled my eyes and stood in the ordering line with Daniel standing super close to me. I rested my head on his shoulder and he pulled me in closer, we were practically hugging.

"Daniel." I spoke up.

"I know." He responded.

After ordering we went to sit back down but that guy was watching my every move. I sat back down next to Christina and rolled my eyes her direction. She knows because this has happened only once.

"Has this happened before?" Daniel asked me.

"Um yeah." I replied.

The whole group was looking at me if there was a story for me to tell. I looked around the cafe and saw the guy staring at me. He was smirking at me so I looked the other way. I looked at Christina and she nodded approving me to tell the story.

"Christina, Corbyn and I went out shopping. I was third wheeling, everything was great." I began and got a few laughs.

"Christina went into the bathroom and I was waiting outside with Corbyn. A guy came up to me and started hitting on me. I told him to leave me alone but he didn't. He kept flirting with me and making me feel uncomfortable." I continued.

"Then he asked if I was single and I said I wasn't and pretended Corbyn was my boyfriend. Now this obviously isn't true. This guy kept asking if Corbyn and I were dating and we said yes just so he could leave."

"He then wanted us to prove that we were dating so that meant for us to kiss in front of him. Being the loyal friend I am and I never wanted to be the cause of the end of Corbina, I kissed Corbyn close to his lips so it looked like we kissed from this guy's angle. He bought it and so did Christina." I ended.

"I came out of the bathroom and saw my best friend kissing my boyfriend. I saw the guy standing in front of them and knew it wasn't real because I knew my best friend and boyfriend would never do that to me." Christina added.

"Once the guy left, we told Christina what happened and everything was okay." Corbyn commented.

"Wow. Imagine Corbina ending. How sad would that be?" Jack replied.

"Yeah I know." I agreed.

After the boys knew the story, the topic was changed and our food came. We ate, chatted and laughed until it was time to leave. Unlucky for me, the guy who pushed me over earlier was waiting for me. He was standing beside the doorway so I had to face him.

"Enjoy your meal, baby girl." The guy blocked my path.

"Only my boyfriend is allowed to call me that." I said to him.

"Which is me." The guy smirked and moved closer to me.

I stepped back and fell into Daniel.

"I don't think so." I pushed past him and stepped outside with Daniel following.

"Where do you think you're going?" He grabbed a hold of my wrist.

"Please let go of me." I tried pulling away but his grip tightened.

"She said let go of her." Daniel removed the guy's hand from my wrist.

"And what are you?" The guy was taller than Daniel.

"Her boyfriend. Now please, would you leave her alone? She's not interested in you." Daniel didn't hesitate.

"Sure. But prove you are her boyfriend." I looked at Daniel who nodded.

I saw Christina, Corbyn, Jonah, Jack and Zach watching from nearby. Daniel cupped my cheeks in his hands and softly kissed my lips.

"Let's go." I grabbed Daniel's hand pushing past the guy who stood there.

"Sam! Are you okay?" Christina asked me when we were out of sight from that guy.

"Christina! That was my first kiss." I whispered to her still holding Daniel's hand.

"Well, tell him!" She said before running off to Corbyn.

Daniel was in the middle of talking to Jonah about what just happened.

"Um Daniel?" He stopped talking to Jonah.

"Yeah, what's up?" He waited for my reply.

"Um, back there. That uh was my um, first kiss." I looked at the ground.

"Really Sam? Well if you uh, ever need help, I'm always here." He smiled at me.

My first kiss with Daniel Seavey, that's never going to fade.
