5 years later
I was practicing a spell when I heard the soft sound of my daughters footsteps. I smiled saying "come on out Ember." She peeked her head out from behind the table with her green eyes shining bright. I said "what's wrong baby?" She said "A-Auntie D-Dinah m-made lunch m-Mommy." I nodded saying "okay princess, Go and wash up. Do you need my help?" She nodded and I said "use you're words baby." "Y-Yes M-Mami." She had trouble getting the words out and I gently grabbed her hand. I led her into the bathroom and lifted her so she could wash her hands. Once she did I set her down and kissed her forehead. Dinah called out "Ember, come and eat baby!" I washed my hands and we went downstairs together. The girls smiled seeing both of us and Ember let out a squeal when Normani suddenly lifted her and span her around. I smiled at my daughter and sat at the table. We all ate in the dining room and Ember suddenly said "Mami?" I said "yes sweetie?" She said "W-Whewe Mwy D-Daddy?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Baby, you don't have a father." "Bwut, Whiskews an' an' Bwoots hwave Daddy's." She said. I said "Baby, you weren't born. You were created." The girls and I thought it'd be better to say that she didn't have any parents because if she ever found out, she'd be heartbroken that I wasn't her real mother. She furrowed her eyebrows. "Hwow?" I smiled and looked to the girls. "I think it's time we show her what we do." The girls nodded. I gently lifted Ember and we brought her into the basement. "Now Ember when we show you this, you can't tell anyone about it, okay sweetie?" She nodded her little head and I put her down. Dinah, Ally, Mani, and I grabbed hands in a circle with Ember in the middle. She watched with curious eyes as our essence started to glow and sparkle. I heard her giggles as she tried to catch the magical dust. "No, Ember no!" Once the dust hit her skin, instead of burning it, her skin absorbed the power. She fell to the floor limp and I rushed to her side. "Ember, baby wake up! Please!" Ally stopped me from touching her and the girls pulled me out of the room knowing I wasn't in my right mind to think as a normal witch should. I was in Mother mode and they knew it too. So they brought me outside as Ally examines Ember. I was panicking and they squeezed me tight. "She's going to be okay! I didn't hurt her right?! She has a protection spell on her!" Dinah held me close. "Shes okay Lauser, I promise she'll be okay. She's a strong girl."
About an hour later Ally came out and I rushed to be the first to hear about my daughter. "How is she?" Ally smiles softly. "She's fine, but I have some news." I almost jumped on her in excitement of knowing my daughter was okay. "Is it good or bad?" She looked me in the eye. "It could be both." I nodded and took a deep breath. "Okay, what is it?"
"Ember has witch blood in her."
The news shocked me, as it did the girls. "You mean to tell me that Lauser Jr is a witch by blood?" Ally nodded at Dinah. "So that means she absorbed my Essence...." I looked down at my hands.
"Yes Lauren, it means that she is now connected to you, that you must train her." I looked at her. "W-What if I don't train her?"
Normani's eyes shot to me. "Lauren that isn't an option! You have to train her!" Tears filled my eyes. "What if she isn't strong enough to handle it Mani! You know what happened to Camila when we were young!" Dinah's arms immediately flew around my waist at the mention of my ex lover. She hugged me tightly, knowing it was a touchy subject for me. "She's strong Lauren. She's so much stronger than Camila was. She's a witch by blood, which means that the process won't effect her as much as it would a human." I nodded and wiped my tears. In my heart I knew I had no chance of changing their minds about framing Ember, but I also had a voice in the back of my mind, telling me that this was a bad decision.
Emberlyn's POV
I was deep in the woods and I didn't know where I was... "M-Mami!?" I called out but no answer came. I froze when I heard a laugh, sounding like Mami's and turned around to be faced with a large house with smoke rising from the chimney. I watched from the window as a younger looking Mami, Dinah, Normani, and Ally all conversed and messed around. "Why don't we play a game?" An unknown girl spoke. "Ooh, what kind of game Camz?" Mami smirked at the girl.
The girls shoved Mami's shoulder as she pulled out a weird board with a sign made up of stars on it. "I-Is that a-a..."
"Yes, it's a Ouija board." The girl known as Camz spoke. Mami stiffened up but watched as her friends played with the mysterious board. They spoke to the board and with weird triangle thing moved, giving them letters. I got the courage to stand up and knock on the window. The girls jumped at the sound and looked out the window. It was as if they couldn't see me and I panicked. "Mami!" I yelled, being scared. "Mami!" I ran into the house and noticed that I went through the door. Through it! I saw this beautiful girl standing over them, she had her fingers on the board as she gave them letters and answers. She had the same sign that was on the board, on her necklace. I watched her until her eyes met mine. "Oh, Sweetie you aren't supposed to be here. I'm Sinu." I looked at her. "M-My M-Mami can't s-See me...." She looked at the girls. "Baby just close your eyes okay?" I nodded and she grabbed my hands and started saying weird words as I soon felt myself waking up. I shot awake and looked around the room to see Mami, Dinah, Ally, and Normani sitting beside my bed. "Oh sweetie you scared me!" Mami hugged me tightly.

Lauren's POV
"Mami! You couldn't see me!" All of us looked at her in shock. The words came out clearly and without any speech problems. "There was a girl!" Her voice sounded scared. "Baby, what girl? What are you talking about?"
"Camz! Mami! With Camz!"
My eyes grew wide as I froze up.
That was the first time I've ever heard that name in years. The girls stared at me in shock as to what just came out of my little girl's mouth.

25 years earlier
"Why don't we play a game?" A smirk grew on my face. "What kind of game Camz?" She laughed as the girls shoved my shoulders. She pulled out a board and I immediately stiffened up as I recognized the game from the movies we previously had watched. "I-Is that a-a...."
"Yes it's a Ouija board."
After about 30 minutes of arguing about whether we should or should not play the game, the girls decided that they would play without me. I watched as they talked to the board as if they were talking to a friend. "Who are you?" Camila spoke. "Bish, if this ghost says Beyoncé or some shit, I'm screaming and asking for an autograph." Dinah spoke making us all laugh.
Soon we had a response. "Sinu." It spelled and Camila shifted uncomfortably. It started giving us instructions. Dinah being the most immature out of all of us did as told and encouraged all of us to as well. These were the days where Camila's mother and father passed away along with her sister. Camila had the mentality of 'I don't give a fuck about life, so why the hell not', so of course she agreed. I was hesitant, along with Ally but after a bit of convincing, we did it. A knock came to the window and our heads shot to the frost covered snow. No one was there and the board stopped moving for a while. E. It spelled. It stayed on the letter E for the longest time. "E?" Camila spoke. "Who's E?" Nothing. And that's where we decided to end the game. After weeks of playing the game, we finally realized what was happening. We were being trained. Trained to become witches.
At that time we went through the slow and painful process of becoming our witch selves. We shifted into what our familiars would look like. But Camila didn't make it.... she was the weakest of us all. And what we didn't know, did hurt us, because we found out. Camila was practicing dark magic instead of light... that's what killed her...
Emberlyn's POV
"Mami I saw Camz! And the girl, the girl Sinu!" Something clicked in her mind as she looked at me. "Baby did you tap on the glass?" I nodded rapidly and she kneeled to my height. "Okay baby, this is really important, how many times did you knock?"
I ran to the glass and copied what I did. The same little rhythm. I counted. "One, two, three, four, five, six. Six Mami." She teared up.

"Baby what did Sinu look like?" "She looked like Camz, Pretty!" She cracked a smile at that, as a lone tear ran down her cheek

"Baby what did Sinu look like?" "She looked like Camz, Pretty!" She cracked a smile at that, as a lone tear ran down her cheek. "Mami don't cry! Sinu was nice, I swear! She brought me home!" I smiled widely and She hugged me tightly. Ally, Mani, and Dinah looked panicked. "Lauren do you know what this mean-"
"Shut up Dinah, let me hug my daughter." She said in a scary voice making me jump. "Shh, Baby you're okay. Mami's here." I hugged her tightly.

Lauren's POV
(So many switches, I'm sorry!)
I knew what this meant deep inside, but I couldn't address it, nor believe it. My daughter was a rare and natural witch. She didn't need training, just a little help understanding. My daughter would need all the protection from the world, she would feel the most pain, the most love, and the most fear compared to any other witch. She would need to grow up fast and learn how to control her power before she hurt herself... but I don't want that for her... she deserves a childhood....
As I laid Emberlyn down to sleep on her bed Ally, Dinah, and Mani all gathered at the door making me sigh. I knew that I'd have to talk about this at some point, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. My daughter is half human, half witch. I don't have a choice as to if she has a normal human life, it was in her blood. And I know that she won't have a choice...
