I walked into the girls locker room and immediately covered my eyes seeing many girls changing. I ran into the bathroom and shut the door behind me. I walked into a stall and started changing. The uniform was a bit tight but it was okay. I walked out of the bathroom and outside. I was trying out for the cheerleading team, because why not? I stood behind the girls and Miss Lovato stood in front of them. "Alright girls, start stretching!" She blew the whistle and I started stretching along with the girls. "Psst. Ember!" I heard Blaise whisper shout and smiled as I looked up at her. She was sitting on the bleachers watching us. "What are you doing here Blaise!" I whisper shouted back.
She smiled and leaned over the fence. "I came to support you! And also because my mom didn't want me to beat up Chad for treating you the way he did." I chuckled as she reached her arm towards me. I did the same and we interlocked our fingers. "Now go stretch Em! Go win that spot!" I smiled and ran off with the girls. "Alright ladies, the first step is a mile run. The first ten to come back will be brought back for more training. Time starts, now!" We ran and I was ahead of everyone. "Go Ember!" I heard and that gave me the strength and sprint as fast as I could. I felt the wind blow my hair away from my face and everything looked like a blur from how fast I was going. I finished the mile run in 1 minute and coach looked at me like I was crazy. "Ember How is that possible?!" I wasn't even out of breath, nor sweating.
I smiled at her innocently and ran to Blaise. She smiled as if she were confirming something in her head and grabbed my hand once again. I saw Luna from the corner of my eye, letting me know that mom was here. "She's a witch." I heard Luna say. I looked at her from where I was standing and she was gazing at Blaise. "She's a witch." She repeated and Blaise looked at Luna. "Is that your cat?" I nodded and called her. "Luna come here!" She ran to me and I lifted her, making Blaise smile and pet Luna.
"Alright girls!" Coach called and I watched from where I was standing with Blaise. The girls all looked tired and worn out. "That is enough for today. Go get dressed." Miss Lovato walked over to us and I saw Mom and walking over to us. Luna purred as Blaise pet her and I smiled at her. Miss Lovato talked to mom in private and Blaise and I just spent time together.

Lauren's POV
"Lauren! It's been so long!" Demi ran to me and hugged me. I hugged her back. "Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you since high school!" I spoke back with a wide smile on my face. "So that confirms it." She spoke. I looked at her. "Ember's a witch." I nodded and looked over at Ember and Demi's daughter. "She finished the mile run in a minute." I looked at her like she was crazy. "Wow." I said and Demi looked at Ember. "Is She a half blood?" I nodded and looked at my daughter. "Then I think she may have found her partner Lauren. Look at them, they've been inseparable since they met this morning. Blaise even begged me to have Ember stay over tonight." She chuckled. "Maybe that's a good thing. Ember is a half blood, but your daughter is a pure blood." She nodded and watched them. "How is everyone?"
I looked at her. "Dinah and Mani are getting married soon, Ally and I are sort of roommates, and my parents..." She looked at me with sorrow filled eyes. "I heard, I'm so sorry." She hugged me.
"Has Ember found her power yet?" I nodded as I wiped a few tears away. "She can go into the spirit realm Demi. She speaks with my family and even Camila." Demi smiled. "That's amazing Lauren."
I looked back at Blaise. "Has Blaise found her power?" She shook her head. "Not yet, but I'm hoping your daughter can help with that." I nodded and we pulled apart. "I'll see you soon Demi. I'll have Ally pick up Ember tonight, because I have to go to Dinah's to help her plan the wedding." I chuckled and she smiled. "See you soon Lauren. Take care of yourself." I smiled and headed to Dinah's.
