School

I woke up to Luna pawing at my stomach. "Wake up Sleepy head. Mom is about to walk in, in three two, one."
The door opened revealing a messy bunned, Mom.
"Get up! Ember get dressed! You have school!" I shot up, making Luna fall off the bed and onto the floor. "Oww! What the heck!?"
"Oops, Sorry Luna!" Mom looked at Luna and smiled. "Hi Luna! I'm Lauren!" Luna bowed to mom and I chuckled. "Alright, Luna out! I have to get dressed."
She walked away sassily. "Bossy much." She mumbled and I laughed, shutting the door behind her. I got dressed quickly and did my hair and makeup.

I had done research on what girls wear these days and stole mom's old shirt. I walked out of my room and down the stairs. Mom's eyes shot to my outfit. "Uhmm no." She spoke. "You look like me when I was younger, but that outfit is a no." I looked at her. "Mom you wore this literally like a week ago." I smirked at her knowing I had a point and she huffed. "Fine." She said and we got in the car with Luna on my lap. "Dang girl nice legs." She spoke making me laugh. "Luna, keep your comments to yourself please!" Mom spoke from the driver seat, making me laugh even harder. Only witches can hear familiars. Once we got to the school we got out of the car and Mom made sure everything was in order before I got my schedule. Mom took Luna home and I walked to my locker. "Ooh, new girl hotty 12 aclock." I heard someone whisper so someone and soon I felt a slap come to my ass. I span around and slapped the person making "oohs" heard. The guy smirked at me. "Damn Baby, I didn't know you liked it rough." I rolled my eyes and turned back to my locker and put the things I didn't need into it. "Leave her alone Chad. (Eww I hate that name) she literally just got here." I ran a hand through my hair and shut my locker, making eye contact with the person who was talking to the boy. He scoffed and walked away. "Is this normal behavior for the male kind?" I furrowed my eyebrows and she looked at me weirdly. "You're new to this whole school thing aren't you?" I nodded. "Yeah, Ive been homeschooled my whole life." She smiled at me. "Well I'm Blaise, let me see your schedule. Maybe I can show you around." I smiled and nodded, handing her the slip of paper. "We have all the same classes except for last period. I have art when you have PE." I nodded and she grabbed my hand and showed me to our first class. "And don't mind Chad, he's your typical fuck boy." I furrowed my eyebrows at the term. "Fuck boy?" She looked at me and nodded. "You know, the kind of boy that just wants to get in your pants?" I looked at her like she had three heads and she chuckled. "Come on, I have a lot to teach you." We walked hand in hand as we walked into the classroom. We sat in the back and I watched as the teacher entered the class. "Good morning class, today we have a new student. Her name is Emberlyn. Emberlyn can you please stand up and tell us something about you?" I stood and looked around the class. "Hi, as you heard I am Emberlyn, and this is my first year at a real school. I've been homeschooled my whole life." I looked around and the guy from before smirked at me and winked. "Thank you Emberlyn. You may sit. I am Miss Lovato, your health teacher." I nodded and sat down beside Blaise. Throughout the period we just talked and worked on our assignment together. I felt this odd aura from her. As if she was a witch as well, but I kept quiet. The bell rang and I walked to my locker, switching out books. "Hey Ember." Blaise leaned on the locker beside mine. "I was wondering if maybe after school you would like to come over? We can work on that health project." I smiled at her. "Yeah! Sure that would be fun!" She smiled and we walked off to the next class together. I knew Blaise and I were going to be good friends.
