Macgyver pov
Matty exited the room holding our prisoner with a disappointing look on her face.
Jack and I stood there looking down upon her waiting for an explanation.
"Well?" Jack asked when she didn't speak.
"Nothing," she said, "I couldn't get anything out of her."
"You mean to tell me that you just spent the last twenty four hours in there and you didn't get a thing," Jack pointed back towards the room angered.
"I don't think she's a psychopath," Riley came up behind Jack and I making us turn to face her.
"What do you mean she ain't a psychopath," Jack pressed, "she just stared a man down, looked him in the eyes and shot him in the head."
"Maybe, but even psychopath's break," I said, now catching on to what was being said, "Even Murdoc broke. This girl, she's been trained."
"Trained?" Jack questioned, "Like what? Like us trained?"
"Maybe better," Matty stated, "She has gone without food, water, talking, and sleeping for more than twenty four hours now and she has yet to even blink."
I looked back through the window at her. She kept the same face still, even though she thought no one was watching her. I didn't know who this girl was but I was bound and determined to find out.

I did as I was trained and kept quiet. I didn't move, I didn't even show emotion when they spoke to me. For all they knew at this point I could be brain dead. I stared straight ahead and never let my eyes leave that point. I'd sat with a woman for twenty four hours straight and neither one of us talked. It would've drove any sane person to insanity but I would not break. In my training I had gone days without food or water in a room just like this. I was taught to be still and just count my breaths.
About another three hours passed after the woman left the room before the door opened again, only this time it was a new face. Well, not quite.
He was dressed like the rest of the security in the halls but I knew that face anywhere. I kept my eyes forward until he came and unlocked the chains on my wrists.
"Chloe," He slightly shook my shoulder breaking me from my daze. That tended to happen, us getting stuck in that position, when we'd sat there for too long. I remember one time it took shaking Hayden for nearly an hour before we got a response out of her. But that was just the price we paid for this kind of work.
I blinked several times trying to come back to this world. It took a slap to the face from the man to get me to fully regain control over myself and look at him.
"Blaze," I said. My voice was horse as was expected after going so long with out a drink or talking.
"Come on," he grabbed my arm pulling me up onto my feet, "We don't have long before that hacker of theirs figures out what we're doing."
My legs shook but I ignored the aching of my weak muscles and ran, keeping close to Blaze. He had his gun in hand but didn't use it because while we were assassins we were not just killers. We were going to get out of here without a body count in our trail.

We sat in the war room trying to find something, anything on this woman. But no matter how hard we searched we still couldn't find a trace of her existence.
"This just doesn't make any-," Riley stopped and looked at her screen wide eyed, "guys. We have a problem."
I had been fiddling with a paperclip since Matty allowed them again to help me to concentrate. Riley hit a few keys on her computer and the video footage from the interrogation room came up. I glanced up at it and froze. The room was empty.
"She got out," Riley finished. She started bringing up the cameras from around the rest of the building but she was no where to be found. This didn't make any since. Well until one of the cameras showed Jack and I walking into the war room on it.
"She's got help," Riley said, "good help. They've looped our footage and even I can't stop it."
"Lock down the building," Matty instructed, "We'll just have to find her ourselves. No one comes in or out until we do."
And we did, we searched, but by the time we had tossed the entire building she had to have already been long gone.

We were out the door and running down the block before they even knew we were gone. About a mile down the road sat a van that I'd spent a lot of time in the past eight years. The door slid open when we got close and Blaze and I jumped in right before it screeched away.
I was breathing hard, sitting on the floor of the van on my hands and knees. I looked up to see Tommy driving and Hayden sitting in a chair in front of a laptop. No one paid anyone any attention as they were all focused on their job. But the more I thought about what had just happened the angrier I got.
"Damn it!" I shouted slamming my fist down onto the hard floor. The van continued moving but everyone turned to look at me. Tommy's attention went back and forth between the road and I but Hayden wasn't the least bit concerned about whatever she had been doing now.
"What is it?" Blaze asked, "you got the mark didn't you?"
"Yeah but I was sloppy," I huffed, "I didn't cover my tracks well enough. I got caught!"
"Which is why we're here," Tommy commented, "you're welcome."
"Boss is gonna be so pissed at me," I pushed myself back so that I was sitting on my butt now.
"As far as Boss knows," Blaze said, "you finished your task. But you felt someone was following you so you had to jump off the grid for a while."
I looked over to him thankfully but still aggravated that I'd slipped up.
"Hey by the way," Hayden began, "who were those people?"
I paused for a moment to ponder on the question. The blond boy had told me his name but I do believe he was the only one. And a name only gets you so far in finding things out about him.
"I- I don't know."
