The snow fell silently in the hospital room as baby Serenity was staring tight outside the window.
"They're after us," he told her.
"Who, Spence?" Judine asked. "We can't just get up and leave,"
"What if I tell you it's the only way?" he asked.
The nurse soon came back in only to discover that Judine, Spencer, and Serenity were gone. The window open, but no sign of them.
