Winter passed. Spring came. It was the final day of the term at the Firewood sorority house. Alison was sitting with the girls discussing their final exams and everything that had happened throughout the year.
"I love y'all," Thea smiled.
"Love you too," Zora replied.
"Did you guys hear about Danika and Aretha?" Bianca asked.
"No, what happened?" Misty asked, rushing over to her.
"They finished their parole and look at their mugshots," Bianca began laughing.
"They look worse then I expected," Thea said, the girls then burst out laughing.
"How's Roman doing?" Serena asked Alison.
"He's good," Alison said to her. "He's taking me out to dinner tomorrow for our 6 month,"
"Aw," Serena said.
The two then looked over at Melissa who was busy on her laptop typing up a storm.
"You good?" Alison asked.
"Fine," Melissa said, closing her laptop. "Still had a few things I had to email my professors,"
"Well is everything good with them?" Serena asked.
Melissa nodded and got up, she walked right down the stairs. The girls all looked at each other. Their house mother and maid walked in with groceries and smiled.
"Groceries?" Misty asked. "For who? We're leaving later,"
"Just a few things for us," Jennifer smiled. "We're going to miss you girls,"
"Group picture?" Alison asked.
"I'll go get Lissa," Serena said, rushing downstairs.
Serena walked over to her room where Melissa was inside reading a binder, and muttering.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Serena asked.
"I'm fine," Melissa told her.
"It does not seem like it to me," Serena told her, walking over and grabbing her laptop from her. Melissa watched as Serena opened it up and began scrolling.
"What the hell is this?" Serena asked, turning the screen around.

"You're writing a book about Ali!?" Serena yelled.
"Keep it down," Melissa said. "Please,"
"You have a whole lot of explaining to do," Serena told her.
"I met her in Virginia and I was so intrigued," Melissa told her. "Her sister's blood,"
"I can't believe this," Serena said. "What are you doing with this?"
"I'm going to the publishing house," Melissa said. "Tomorrow evening I have a meeting,"
"Melissa," Serena told her.
There's something else too. Roman,"
"What?"
"Hey, we're waiting upstairs," Zora told them.
Melissa and Serena looked at eachother. Serena rolled her eyes and marched right out of the room. Going upstairs, Melissa saw that Roman was standing at the door.
"Don't do it, Melissa," she told herself.
She then got with the girls for the photo. Melissa could not stop staring at Roman. She knew something was up about him.
"You're looking away," Alison laughed to Melissa.
"I can't," Melissa said. "I'm sorry. My parents are expecting me home now,"
Melissa walked away from the girls, down the stairs into her room.
"Why are you not standing by me in the picture?" Zora asked Bianca. "You were right by me?"
"It's such bad lighting, we need to retake it maybe later once everyone cooperates," Bianca said, rolling her eyes.
The door opened, Alison saw Boo and Jake walk in, smiling.
"Hey," Boo said, as Alison walked over.
"Any news on Judine?" she asked.
"Nothing," Jake said. "The last we heard from her was two weeks ago,"
"I'm so scared," Alison said. "I don't know where she could be,"
"Why did she even run away?" Jake asked.
"I don't know," Alison said. "We need to figure it out soon though. The baby's with her,"
"And Spencer?" Boo asked.
"With them I assume," she said.
The three looked at each other as the girls were smiling and looking at the group photo they took together.
"Everything okay?" Roman asked, approaching Alison.
"Rome, it's not a good time," Alison said. "Can you go home? I'll see you tomorrow but I need some space right now,"
"Yeah, babe," he said. "I'll call you tonight,"
He then walked right out of the house. Serena walked over to Alison.
"What happened?" she asked.
"You tell me," Alison said. "What's up with Melissa?"
"I have no idea," Serena said. "Promise,"
Alison nodded.

The day went on, Alison was in her room packing when Misty walked in.
"I can't believe the year is over," Misty told her.
"Me too, Mists," Alison said, in a sad tone.
Alison picked up the photo of her and her friends and smiled.
"It seems like so long ago," Misty added, watching Alison touch the photo. "High school,"
Alison turned and nodded, she was teary eyed.
"I just can't believe this," Alison said. "We're all growing up and maturing. Everything is so different,"
"Oh, Ali," Misty said, walking over and hugging her. "It's okay. Things change but that's not always such a bad thing,"
"I know," Alison said.
Misty nodded and stared at Alison.
"You guys need to come see this," Zora told them, holding a remote in her hand.
Alison and Misty looked at each other, they then walked upstairs where the girls were surrounding the TV.
"Is it Judine?" Alison asked.
She then ran over to the TV and her heart beat faster than ever before. On the screen, it showed video footage of KT with a blanket around her being comforted by police and law enforcement.
"The girl was found lost and confused in a wooded area east of Medford, Oregon," the news reporter said. "Her parents have been found and were contacted. KT has been missing for over a year now from the suburban city of Firewood, New York. She was discovered missing the day of her graduation and was never seen since,"
Alison looked over at Misty, then back at the TV. KT was turned into a vampire years before and hobbled off into the forest by Firewood High never to be seen again. She somehow appeared all the way in Oregon. Alison didn't know how. But she knew she had to go see her.
