Adrien's POV:

My name is Adrien Agreste. I'm a knight who serves to protect the princess of Paris, Marinette. (I have a bit of a crush on her)Being a knight has its challenges. I don't get much free time, but its all worth it to know that Princess Marinette is safe. Except for one thing:

Food.

I barely get any of it! Is it wrong to want a good croissant once in a while?!

The only time I get good food is when I'm in my alter ego, Chat Noir. When I'm protecting the poor of Paris, I always make sure to get a bite to eat with Ladybug. Ladybug's my partner. She's real cool(I kinda have a bit of a crush on her too)!

(Well, enough introductions, lets get started!)

I stood in a horizontal line with my fellow knights, my back straight and my head high. The captain of the guard, Gabriel Agreste, (My father) paced in front of us, yelling at us like he always does.

My eyes wandered to the princess's balcony. Princess Marinette was watching us practice. I gave her a goofy smile. She jumped, and sheepishly waved back. She was very pretty.

A second later, I was on the ground.

"We protect the princess!" my father stood over me shouting. "WE DO NOT MAKE GOO GOO EYES AT HER!"

I was not! .... Was !..?

"SIR! YES! SIR!" I shouted back, getting back up.

The other knights snickered. But when my dad shot them a glare, they went silent.

"I can't believe what I'm working with," he muttered. "BREAK!"

My father doesn't normally give a break so soon. Something was up.

"Cool! Free break! Lets head down to the bakery and get some grub!" Kim said. Kim was a knight, just like me.

Ah, the bakery. That's were Princess Marinette used to live.

Flashback:

"I must go! The king might be in danger!" I said to Marinette as Chat Noir.

I leaped out into the crowds and into the castle. Smoke filled the rooms as i trekked to the king's quarters. I found him on the ground.
"Your highness!" I ran to his side.
"Chat Noir!" The king gasped.
"Don't worry your majesty! I'll get you out of here!"
"There's no time! The man that struck me went that way!" The king pointed down the hall. "A...Avenge me..."the king then died in my care.
I hung my head in respect. Then, i started down the hallway. I would avenge him.

A figure in a purple cloak ran through the halls.
"You killed him!" I shouted after him.
We reached a balcony. I had cornered him.
"There's nowhere you can run!" I said. The figure stood silent.
"Cat's got you tongue?" I gave a sly smile.

He climbed up to the railing and jumped off. I ran to see him fall, but he just rose back up, being lifted by thousands if white moths.
He just glared at me and disappeared into the distance.
I never saw that man again.

I snapped back to reality.

"Sure, let's go." I said.
