You Must Overcome

YOU MUST OVERCOME

╚═══════ ೋღღೋ ═══════╝

You must overcome
The voices you hear each morning!
The voices that say you are hopeless
The voices that show you your insecurities.

You cry all day locked up in your room,
Ready to give up before it starts!
Because you have no hopes of a better day ahead.

Because all you see when you close
your eyes are pills, knives and ropes.
But you must not give in!

Listen to the other voice.
The voice that says to you
"You can do this"

You have to get up!
Clear up the tears
Gather up courage
And tell yourself
"I can do this"

Prepare to strive!
Even though there is darkness
You must know
That the sunset is just but a moment,
The sun will rise before it all ends.
