It's been six more days since the party and Kay still is ignoring Nelly. No matter how Nelly tried Kay would not listen. It's Sunday now and they are going to meet the boys in person in 4 days including today.
Nelly's pov
Kay was supposed to be at work today but she didn't show up. Justin says she's sick but who knows. After work I went home and found Rose talking to a man. He was about 6 ft tall, bald, muscular, tatted. I looked wary but Rose nodded.
"This is Jack my buyer. He wants to purchase Lone Wolf. My latest piece." She explained giving me a funny look.
"Oh nice to meet you Jack I'm Nelly her guardian." I shook the man's hand in respect.
"Hello ma'am, I was just telling Miss Bargson here that her piece is worth $1200 and I'm willing to pay it right now." He shocked us with his offer.
"Yes of course $1200. Its a deal." Rose shook his hand. He handed her the cash and took the painting. I couldn't believe it she just made $1200 in one night. After he was looking gone we started celebrating. Followed by her running to put the sell in her books. After coming back she told me the actual profit.
"Okay so the paints, and canvas were roughly $250. So I made... $950 in profits!!!" She screamed jumping up and down. She worked on that painting for only 3 days and made what she makes a month at Taco Bell.
"Let's call Nami!" She decided pulling out her phone.
"Nami! It sold!" Her smile was infectious. She was truly happy.
"Really babe? I mean Rosie." He tried to recover but it was too late the damage was done. Rose was blushing from excitement.
"How much did it go for?" He went on asking.
"Eh... oh yeah the.. painting... um... $1,200 so 1,300,008 Korean won." She stumbled before perfecting her mental math conversion.
"Jesus, your not joking? That's what $950 profit? God you said you finished it in just 3 days?" He asked as amazed as I was.
"Yeah and I've finished ther next piece and have a buyer already. This one took 5 days. I stared it right after Nelly's party. It's a 50×60 inch painting I call it Discovery." She took us to hey room where she showed us yet another masterpiece.
"Wow." Both me and Namjoon some in unison. I can't believe I'm related to this genius. She's book smart and extremely gifted in the arts.
"You won't believe the offer, guess. I'll wait." She mocked us as we stood in awe. It was huge her biggest piece to date. Even the painting for me was smaller and I thought that was huge.
"How much?" Namjoon asked for me.
"$2700, I accepted of course that's a..." She was cut off by Namjoon.
"At least $2250 profit. Oh my god your spectacular. You spend a few days on artwork and make what most people make in a couple months in one day." He smiled so proud of her. I couldn't believe what she was saying. She made three times what we made in a month in one day. Maybe now I can with at dancing.
"Thank you Nami." She blushed at her little crushes words. The sudden shock finally wore off. I ran to her engulfing her in a hug.
"Nelly?" She asked confused but I was just so proud of her.
"God how are you the same little girl, I whisked away?" I hugged her making her smile.
"Thanks Eonni, but can you let go you're suffocating me." She grunted and i released her.
"Wow that's some Noona." Namjoon laughed at us.
"Ha ha, let's go out to eat. You are buying." I laughed at her and she agreed.
After that Rose took me to... guess... McDonald's.
