Kay is gone and everyone knows it too. Lin, Nelly, and Rosie had been watching Justin from a far, making sure he doesn't go home early. And decided to go home finally. Kay was on the plane and out of Justin's reach. There is no reason to stick around here.
Nelly led Rosie and Lin inside their apartment. Rose showed Lin to her new room. And Lin settled in. She only had so much time before her dad literally threw her out. She had the bruised leg to prove it. So she packed light. She had; two sets of Pjs, two pairs of pants, three shirts, one bra, one pair of socks, two pairs of shoes, her uniform, and that's it. Lucky for her she knew her dad was planning this little trick for months. She had some money saved up now.
"Guys be prepared for Justin. He might come storming in here later. Once he finds out Kay is gone for good it'll get rough for us. We just gotta hold out for a while. Then we can go too." Nelly explained to the girls. Rose looked out of place. Ever since Justin hit her, she hasn't been able to get her mind right.
"I will watch for him for a while, you two order some pizza." Nelly instructed and they listened.
"Okay Eonni." Lin replied getting her phone out. Nelly watched out the window for Justin. Rose sat down feeling completely defeated and defenceless.
Nelly's POV
Tomorrow Kay will fly from NYC to Seoul then she's safe. That's all that matters for now. But she left a lot for me to handle on my own. I now have to care for the risk taking painter Rose. And the dipstick Lin from Detroit. How am I suppose to do this on my own? We all know it's not safe here anymore. Justin is dangerous even with my training. He's still a ex-marine with far more experience. I'm not scared to face him. But what about Lin or Rose. What will he do to them? That sick freak.
"Guys! Pizza's here! Lin get my wallet! It's in my bedroom in my purse, first pocket." I called to her.
"It's fine Eonni I already paid for the pizza." Lin smiled at me before opening the door. She signed the paper and tipped the man. Then she brought in two pizzas. She sat them down on the coffee table.
"Thanks for dinner Lin." I smiled opening the boxes. We had a solid cheese pizza for Lin the vegetarian and one Canadian Pineapple for me and Rose. I smiled looking at the pizza. I instantly thought of Jiminie. I missed him, it was hard. But I have to deal with it.
Lin's POV
When I got home my dad was furious. You see he may never hit or beat me but he was never a saint. He was controlling and mean. He always had an opinion and was rude. I graduated early like he always wanted. But unlike him I don't want to be a lawyer. I'm a hacker. Through and though, I am as Kay says a digital artist and technician. My dad never thought hacking would get me anywhere. We disagreed on many things. He hates I dye my hair, wear contacts. He thinks my job is a silly hobby. He thinks I am unreasonable and irresponsible. He won't let me out past 10 even if I work until 12. I am not allowed to drive my car without asking first.
So what did we fight over? Why did he actually kick me out? I lied it wasn't cigarettes. He found me hacking into his computer. But he locked my accounts and froze my bank account. Thankfully I got my money anyway. And now have a new bank account. He's such a dick.
So I packed up but he got impatient and literally threw me out of the house. My leg is all bruised from being thrown on a pile of rocks. My life isn't going so great. But I can make it through I'm fine. I'm fine.
3rd Person POV Time Skip
Justin just got home and found Kay is gone. Kay just got off the plane in NYC. So when he started blowing up her phone, she didn't get anything... Airplane Mode was still on.
But Justin knew who would answer... the girls.
At the house Nelly had accidentally fallen asleep. So Lin and Rose had put her in bed. Lin decided to take the next watch. She didn't work tomorrow until 2pm so staying up late meant no big deal for her. She sat on the couch occasionally looking out the window while she watched NCIS. She hadn't realized that Justin has keys to the apartment. So when someone unlocked the door she didn't even notice. He walked through the door and saw Lin before she saw him. He came up behind her. He covered her mouth with a wet rag. She was muffled and unable to scream for help.
She was terrified and felt tears fall down onto the rag. She thought he was going to kill her. He leaned down bis warm breath hitting her neck.
"Your such a pretty girl Linnie." He cued in her ear. She immediately was on edge again. She cringed from his breath.
"Tell me where she is and I'll let you go Lin." He promised but she knew better. Even if she did tell him he'd hurt or worse kill her. She stifled a laugh knowing it'd make him react.
He slowly covered both her nose and mouth. She felt him pinch her nose, trying to suffocate her. She hit at his arm not wanting to die. He smiled knowing she'd give up soon. So once her arms started to go limp he let go of her. She fell forward off the couch onto the floor below. He came around as she gasped for air. She was too weak now to fight and out of air so screaming was out of the question. He flipped her on her back and punched her in the face. She cried in pain as her nose bled.
"Tell me Lin." He demanded in a hushed tone he knew he didn't want to wake the other two girls. Lin was his perfect target, weak, young and scared.
"F..u.ck off..." She spit in his face making him angrier. He decided to just keep punching her until Lin gave up hope. She cried barely breathing as the pain took over her body.
He just wouldn't stop, that is until Nelly threw him off her. Rose came swooping in and pulled Lin out of harms reach. Nelly was finished with Justin. She kicked his ass back to Taco Bell. When she finished he left easily.

Once he was gone they rushed Lin to the hospital. She was patched up and released that same night.
