When I got to the classroom, I took my seat behind Yui. My class contained me, Yui, Ayato, Laito, Kanato and Subaru. It was just the six of us, but even though the class was small, it got interesting at times. Especially with Laito and Ayato, they would always fight over something at the end. Yui was in front of me, placing her stuff out on the desk, ready to start her day. She always kept her desk neat and her homework organized. Parts of me think Reiji was forcing the organization on her, but I didn't know for sure. Ayato was in the desk next to her, leaning back in his chair, waiting patiently. It got annoying to me and there was times where I wish he would just fall off. "If Reiji was here, he would be dead by now" I thought to myself as I watched him. He kept looking strait, not noticing me looking at him. Laito was behind his younger brother, looking at his hat in boredom. He studied the features on the hat as he sighed, placing his head down on the desk. Kanato was behind me, playing with his bear silently. He kept silent most of the time in school, but he would also talk to his teddy in class too, which was a little strange. It was the strangest when it was dead silent, like it is now. Subaru was sitting in the way back of the room, away from all of us. His head was on the desk, hiding his face. He wasn't the type of guy that liked school very much. In a way, I agreed with him. It was a little creepy. I think he was asleep at this point and class hasn't even started either.
I huffed as I leaned back in my chair, looking through the notes that I made at home. Laito was twirling his hat in circles over his figure, picking up speed as it went around. I could hear the wind gushing around the hat as it spun, lifting up off his finger. I flipped the page, as I continued to study when something hit me in the head. It was Laito's hat. The hat fell on the floor upside down, showing me the lining inside. "Um, London, can you be a doll and get me my hat?" Laito said in a very calm voice. I felt a little creeped out from the comment. My eyes bulged open a but as I tried to ignore it. Yui looked at him in surprise. "Laito, don't even mention dolls" she said as she shook it fear. I never knew the reason she shook to the word doll. She never explained to me how she was afraid of it, but she also didn't want to talk about it. I didn't pressure her either. I always thought that if she wanted to tell me, she would. Yui picked up the hat and gently handed it over to him. He took the hat and put it on his desk as they started talking. I huffed as I went back to my note. "London, you study too much" Ayato said as he sat by me. I look at him, as he knelt next to me, looking at me with a creepy look on his face. I tried to ignore it, but it was just too weird. "I'm sorry. Is my studying getting in the way?" I asked him, trying not to be rude. He didn't say anything at first, no emotion or anything. He was just plain silent. Finally he grew a smile on his face. It wasn't even a friendly smile, it was more creepy then anything.
He got up from his desk and walked over to mine, leaning over my desk. He closed my notebook as he placed his had firmly on it, keeping me from opening it back up. His body shadowed me from the light, making a little chill grow over me. I shivered as it suddenly became colder in the room. I hugged my arms as I shivered a bit. "Ayato, your blocking the warmth" I said as I started breathing into my shirt. I felt my eyes become heavy and my throat a little scratchy. I coughed which helped my throat. "Oh, I'm so sorry" he said as he lowered, then ended with my level. He leaned into me, making me try to back up, but the way our desks were, I couldn't. My back was placed up against my chair, feeling the fear rising more through my body. I leaned back more as I froze, hearing sniffing in the back of me. "Her bloods cold, Teddy. But it's also smells delicious" Kanato said as he licked my neck. I was too scared to even flinch, so I just stayed still. Kanato wrapped the other arm around my shoulders, bringing me closer to him. He lowered as he whispered in my ear. "Your cold. Can I warm you up?" he asked, as I heard him inhale. My eyes widen in fear as he went to bite. I took a deep breath as a book fell behind us. "Kanato, Ayato. Reiji told us many times, do not take blood during school" Subaru yelled from across the room. His voice was full of rage when he spoke. He calmed a bit as he bent over and picked up the book from the floor. The two boys sighed, retreating to their desks. I looked back at Subaru as I mouthed a thank you to him. He didn't say anything, just griped. He wasn't the friendly type. He was more quiet and kept to himself. He also seemed to get angry about everything too.
I took another reliving breath, as I went back to looking at my notes. I sighed, trying to forget the creepiness that just happened. It was one of the most weirdest things that ever happened at school. I heard shifting over next to me, but paid no attention to it. Maybe it was one of those things that if I ignored it, it would go away on it's own, but it didn't. "I know, I was hungry too" Kanato said to the bear in his hands. I ignored him as I studied, making corrections in my notebook. I reached into my bag as I pulled out my book and flipped to the next page. Even though there was no actual class at night, I still look stuff up in my book for my lessons. I heard Kanato mumble something to his bear again, but at this point, I was ignoring him. Finally, I felt a little tug on my shirt. I looked over as I narrowed my eyes at him. "Kanato, I'm trying to study" I said, a little aggravated. He sighed as he clenched the bear, placing his head on it, as he spoke. "I'm sorry London, but Teddy wants to know if you would want to have a tea party after school with us" he said in a normal tone. It didn't sound creepy at all, for once. I shook my head knowing my dad. He wouldn't let me, even if I tried. "Sorry, I can't" I said, a little disappointed. Kanato got up as he tugged on my arm. "Can I at least show you something?" he said, pulling me out of the classroom. I didn't even have the time to reply, we were out of the room faster then I could speak.
He took me down to the basement of the school, into a little storage closet. It wasn't that big, just barley enough to fit the two of us. "What does he want?" I thought to myself, waiting patently. I huffed thinking of what he was doing and what would happen if my dad found out. The closet was cold, a cool breeze brushed through the giant vent in the bottom of the floor. "Kanato, I need to go back to class" I said as I turned towards the door. Kanato rushed to it before me, and slammed it closed. He looked at me in anger as it softened and turned into a smile. "Please, stay down here with me" he said as he turned the lock on the door. I looked at the door in surprise, afraid of freezing down here. Immediately, the room got colder, making me shiver dramatically. "Kanato, I can't stay down here. I can't take the cold" I said as I shivered. He walked closer, dropping his teddy on the ground as he approached. "I know, so I want to make you warmer" he said, in yet another creepy tone. I backed up to the wall, as I tripped and sat on a chair in the corner of the room. I tried to get up, but he was too close for me to run. My eyes bulged out in fear, when he came closer. He brushed my hair away from my neck as he bent down to smell. My eyes bulged out of my head, hoping someone wound burst through the room and stop him. I lunged forward, but his strength kept me still in place. "Stay still London. The less you move, the less it'll hurt" he said as he took a deep breath and reached in closer.
He went to take a bite. I could feel the tips of his fangs, gently brush the side of my neck but not leaving any marks. I tried to lunge up, but with his strength, it was impossible to do it. "Kanato, stop" I yelled, as I tried to get up, but it was no use. I closed my eyes, hoping it would be done and over with, when the sound of someone clearing their throat grew through the room. "I thought there was no taking blood during class" Reiji said, pushing up his glasses. Kanato slowly looked behind him at Reiji as he huffed. "But I was just getting started" he whined. Reiji looked at him, over the rim of his glasses. "Get back to class, Kanato" he said, his voice getting stern. Kanato huffed as he got up off me and walked out of the room. "This ain't over London" he said, as he smiled and making his teddy wave. My eyes bulged out at the sight, as Reiji huffed. "Sorry about that London, he's usually not like this. I'll make sure your dad or uncles won't find out about this" he said walking out. I got up to follow him, before anyone else came in.
Reiji stopped in the doorway, making it unable to pass. I tried to go around him, but nothing worked. "But London" Reiji said, breaking the silence. I looked up at him, seeing the anger in his eye. He narrowed his eyes at me as he looked into mine. It felt like he could see what I was feeling inside. "Don't ever tell you Dad or uncles about this little thing" he said as he turned around. I looked at him in the eye. I gulped, feeling the fear of his gaze, as he smiled. "Don't tell anyone at all, or I'll make you freeze" he said as he walked out, letting me finally out into the hall. I sat there in thought. I couldn't tell anyone and Reiji is scaring me with that last part. "What will he do to make me freeze?" I thought to myself, as I bumped into Reiji again. He flipped around in anger, as he moaned with anger. "Reiji, don't look at my daughter like that" Dad yelled, as he walked down the hall towards us. Reiji huffed as he continued walking. He stopped and leaned into dad. "Then handle your daughter better" he said as he left the room. "Come on baby" dad said as we walked off to the car.
