I sat there in silence, waiting to go back home for the night.  I had such a rough day that I just wanted to be locked in my bedroom, which wasn't normal for me.  The thought of home sounded really good at the moment.  Safe from life, with my dad and uncles, no outsiders to harm me.  The nice fireplace, burning with me right in front of it, doing my homework like I always do.  The thought relaxed me, as I took a deep breath.  I closed my eyes as I relaxed more, feeling the crisp, winter air through the cracked window, that Uncle Ruki had open. It was far enough that it didn't bug me at all, which helped.  I rubbed my arm as I felt the chill coming back.  Dad looked at me, then at Uncle Ruki.  He cleared his voice to get his attention.  Uncle Ruki looked up from his book, looking annoyed which I understand.  He wa trying to read as well and when he reads, he didn't like to be interrupted by anyone.  Uncle Ruki finally got the message, and rolled up his window without a problem.  "Sorry Sweetheart" he said to me, not taking his eyes off me.  Strangely, he was being nice again.  Was it because the Sakamaki boys threatened me and that was his job?  I sighed as I looked back out the window.  Uncle Kou was sitting in front of that window, looking at his hands in bordom.  Uncle Azusa was in the far corner, almost asleep, resting his head on his backpack.

I sighed as Reiji's voice popped into my head.  "Don't tell anyone, or I'll make you freeze" it said, making me shiver in fear.  Uncle Kou looked at me confused.  "You cold Kitten?" he asked, his voice so uplifting and positive as always.  I snapped out of my stare and looked in  his direction.  "What? Oh not anymore" I said, making my tone seem shy.  At this point, dad's attenton was on me to.  "Did something happen at school?" he asked, curious.  I took a deep breath as I thought of telling him, but Reiji's threat kept repeating in my head.  "No, nothing happend.  It was just a normal day" I said in the most positive mood that I could do. I even added a little smile, to make it less noticeable.  Dad didn't get effected by it. He looked at me confused in silence.  Uncle Ruki closed his book, making all our attention go to him.  "London, you shouldn't lie to your dad like that" he said, looking like he could hit me for doing it.  I looked into his eyes as they grew cold with anger.  I couldn't tell them, even if he hit me until I blurted out.  Finally, I shook my head in fear. "Fine, something did happen, but I can't say what it is" I said, exhaling my stress.  I looked back at Uncle Ruki, seeing that his look got a little softer.  He looked more worried then angry at this point.

"Babe, you can tell us anything" dad said, trying to sooth the feeling.  I looked at him as I started to tear up, feeling the fear creak into me and taking control.  I shook my head again as I looked at the floor.  "I can't say" I said through tears. The four of them stared at me in silence, but I didn't look up. No one even spoke at first, just sat there in silence. I closed my eyes, trying to keep myself from crying.  I was so scared that I didn't know how to handle the emotions. Parts of me wanted to cry, but another told me to keep the emotions bottled up inside. I herd shifting of someone moving seats, as Uncle Ruki's book closed shut and was placed on the seat next to him.  A hand wrapped around my side, rubbing my arm, as dad pulled me closer.  "Honey, what's wrong?" he asked softly.  I felt his arms wrap around me, keeping my head pressed to his chest.

"Did someone hit you?" he asked softly. Uncle Ruki cleared his voice, as he shifted to get comfortable.  "No one better be hitting my niece" he said sternly.  Uncle Kou looked at him as he chuckled.  "Says the guy that threatens her all the time."  Uncle Ruki looked back at him.  "Well someone has to discipline her." Dad cleared his voice as the car stopped in front of the house.  "We're going to sit here until you tell us.  I won't let no one hurt you right now" he said, keeping his tone lowered as he glared at Uncle Ruki. I huffed as I sat up, and whipped the tear out of my eye. I had to tell him eventually.  Hopefully, the Sakamaki's wouldn't find out.  I took a deep breath and cleared my throat.  "Reiji was the one that threatened me" I said finally.  I really didn't feel like talking about it at this point.  Dad sighed as he nodded.  "Alright, can you say what he told you?" I shook my head in silence.  Uncle Ruki looked up as he huffed. "He threatened to freeze you, didn't he?"  I looked at him in shock. I couldn't believe that out of the four of them, he was the one to say it.  Finally, I nodded to let them know the truth.

Uncle Ruki huffed as he opened the door and jumped out.  "No one threatens my niece" he said as he walked into the house. The comment made me a little confused.  I didn't know that he would make a big deal out of it, seeing how he didn't really seem to care at all.  At this point, all I wanted to do was get my homework done.  I looked at dad, as he studied me.  He had a serious face on, looking like he wanted more answers.  But I wasn't in the mood to continued.  I gulped as I studied him. I didn't know if he was going to try to get answers yet or not.  Dad huffed as he nodded.  "You can leave now" he said, as he pointed out the door.  I jumped out with my bag and went into the house to start my homework.  At this point, I didn't want to continue with the topic.

When I entered the house, Dad huffed as he jumped out, with Uncle Azusa following him.  "Yuma" he said, hoping it would grab dad's attention, but it didn't work.  Dad was too mad at this point.  Dad didn't even went in the house, he went strait into the yard and started attending the flowers.  He did it to relieve stress and anger that he couldn't control.  He bent down as he started going through each one, picking off the dead buds and pulling up weeds that grew in between. I watched as I leaned up on the window sill, with the window open so I could hear him working.  It made me relax easier, when I heard him work.  Sometimes, I would just sit with him, listening to him work.  Uncle Kou walked up to him, as he started talking, but I couldn't hear what they were saying.  I huffed as a knock came through the door.  "London" Uncle Azusa's voice said through the door, a little muffled but I could still hear him.  "It's open" I said, as I rested my head on the sill of the window.  Uncle Azusa opened the door, as he came in and he sat near me.  "You ok?" he asked, with worry spilled over his face.  I shook my head not knowing how to respond.  "Do you want to be alone?" he asked, trying to stay as calm as he could.  I nodded, not trying to be rude. But I didn't want to be alone, I wanted to tell him, I just couldn't.  Uncle Azusa huffed as he got up. "I'll be downstairs if you need anything" he said as he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.  I huffed as I placed my head on the sill, trying to relax more as the time passed.
