We pulled up in the driveway in front of the house.  Dylan put the car in park, as he unlocked the door and shut off the engine.  He finally huffed as he looked up at the portch in sadness. He watched it in silence. Neither of us said a word.   I did the same as I stayed in the car and opened the door.  "You ready to do this?" I asked him, knowing that he didn't really want to do this, but he still did it for me.  I went to jump out but he grabbed my shirt.  "Wait a minute, I want to ask something first" he said with a sigh.  I looked at him in confusion, not saying or doing anything.  Finally, I closed the door, as I sat there, waiting for him to tell me what was wrong.  Dylan huffed as he looked down at his hands again.  "London, I don't think I can do this" he said, his voice all serious.  I could tell by the sound of his voice that he was scared.  He sighed as he spoke again. "What if we get into another fight?  That would get your dad going and I don't want to make anything worse" he said in a worried tone.  I watched him look down at his hands as he put one into the other and back out again.  I could see that he was scared, fear holding him back from the idea. It gave me the feeling that I was making him do this.  "Dylan, I was just trying to help. If you want to leave, you can.  I was just thinking that my dad would want to see you again" I said, wrapping the coat tighter as I felt cold again.  He looked at me and sighed.  "Sorry, your probably getting cold.  I should get you inside" he said as we both jumped out.

We started walking towards the portch of the house as the door swung open.  "Kitten!" Uncle Kou yelled as he bolted off the portch. He ran full boar, off the portch towards me. He started giving me a big hug and almost lifting me off the ground.  "I missed you so much" he yelled dramaticly.  I sat there, trying to breath, but he was hugging me too much.  "Uncle Kou, your....killing...me" I said as I tried to get air again. Unckle Kou hugged me as tightly as he could, without killing me.  Finally, he let go and placed me back on the ground.  Dylan chuckled as he shook his head.  "Still a hugger, aren't you Uncle Kou" he said, talking the attention, which I didn't mind.  Uncle Kou looked at him in shock.  "Dylan? This is suprizing" he said, as he calmed down a bit.  I looked at Dylan, then at Uncle Kou as I smiled.  "Dylan was the one that brought me home" I said in a possitive tone.  Uncle Kou nodded as he looked back at Dylan.  "Won't you come in?" he asked.  Dylan nodded as we turned to go into the house.

When we got in, dad was sitting at the table, looking through the mail.  Uncle Azusa was on a computer on the other side of the table.  I didn't know what he was doing, but he was hard at work by the sound of it.  Uncle Ruki was on the coutch, reading a book with the side lamp shining on it.   Dad looked up as we walked in.  "Kou what's all the" he said, stopping in mid sentence. His jaw drop in surprise as he looked our way.  Faster than I could think, he got up and ran to me, arms wide open, ready for a huge squeese.  "Thank goodness.  I thought I was going to kill Reiji" he said as he sniffled a bit. I knew he was crying, I probably had him worry.  Uncle Ruki looked up from his book.  "London, good to see your safe" he said with a smile.  He was going to say something else, but stopped when he saw Dylan.

He put his book down as he got up from the couch.  Dad and I backed away, to give them some space. I watched as fear started taking over, as I hoped a fight wouldn't start.  Dylan sighed as he spoke. "I know you don't want me here and I don't care.  I was just bringing London home and I'm leaving now" he said as he turned to go out the door again. Uncle Ruki just staired at him, watiching him walk out.  He cleared his voice as he spoke again.  "Dylan, come back here" he said sternly.   Dylan turned around as he sighed.  I could tell he wasn't happy of his dad's tone.  But he lisened anyway.  Dylan huffed as he spoke to Uncle Ruki.  "Dad, I know you don't want me here, so I'll go find sonewhere else to stay" he said as he tuned and looked at me.  "Sorry London.  But thanks for trying" he said as he walked out. Uncle Ruki cleared his voice.  "So, where are you living now? Seeing how your mother's not here anymore."  Dylan just looked at Uncle Ruki, not saying anything.  He didn't look too happy.  Dad tapped my sholder as he walked out. "London,  come help me with the garden" he said as he walked out.  I nodded as I followed him, not knowing what was going to happen in the house.

I knelt by the rozes, as I looked through them.  "They've grown quickly" I said, suprizing. Dad smiled as he started attending a bunch.  "London, you should probably put on gloves before you" he said but I yelped, getting a thorn stuck in me. Dad shifted, looking at the scratch, as it started to bleed.  He chuckled as he spoke.  "As I was saying, you should put gloves on so they don't do that. Now hold still" he said, as he put his tool down.  He pulled out the thorn and looked at the spot, seeing a tiny bit of blood, ooze out of the spot.  Quickly, he put his lips over the spot, as he did his thing.  I looked back at the house, hoping no one was seeing this.  I was getting embarrest as I thought of what was happening.  "Uh dad, are you talking blood?"  Dad finished what he was doing and brought his head up.  "What? I'm not going to let you bleed on my flowers" he said, making me laugh at the comment.  He sighed as he got up.  "And this is why I make you wear gloves" he said as he walked to the shed and brought out another pair.  I looked at the house as I thought about Dylan and Uncle Ruki.  "So far no yelling" I said to myself.

"What you talking about?" Dad asked, as he knelt back down.  I looked at him as I grabbed the gloves and put them on. I looked at dad in shock.  "Uncle Ruki and Dylan. Their not fighting yet" I said in shock.  Dad shook his head as he started pulling up weeds. "Well, it's the first time" he said as we both went back to work.  I shifted over, seeing a roze that I never seen before.  It looked like a normal roze, only it was completley green.  It sat in the middle of the roses, making it noticeable. "Dad, I didn't know you planted a green one" I said in complete shock. Dad turned as he looked at it.  "Huh, that's strange.  It must've grew on it's own" he said as he went to his work.  "Do you want me to move it?" I asked him. Dad looked up at me.  "No, it's not the right time" he said as he continued.  I nodded as the back door of the house opened and closed again.  Dad turned around as he looked at Uncle Ruki.  "So, how did it go with your son?" he asked, as he took a break.  I ignored the conversation as I went back to work. The only thing I heard was something about clearing a room if they had one.

All went silent before they spoke. "Well, London can share my bedroom, it's big enough" he said with a chuckle. I looked at him as he smiled.  "Would that be ok with you?" he asked me.  I nodded as I smiled, knowing that Dyllan was finally moving back in.  "Alright, I'm going with him to get his stuff, we'll be back to help" Uncle Ruki said as he went back in the hosue.  I smiled as I went back into what I was doing. Dad looked at me, as he went back to pulling up flowers.  I flinched as I pulled back again. Dad chuckled. "I just gave you gloves" he said in a full laughter.  I chuckled as I looked at him.  "It was my arm this time" I said.  Dad shook his head as he went back to work.  "I guess the flowers don't like you" he said playing around.  I let the blood dry a bit, then I went back to work.
