I awoke in a room that I didn't reconize. The room was dark and cold, with the door shut and the window wide open. The cold wind kept gushing in, spitting snow through the window. I was lying on a bed in the corner of the room, on the other side of the window, but not near it. The bed was wrapped up in plastic, pillows and all. There was no blanets on the bed, except for the ones under the plastic. The room had other furnature that was also wrapped in plastic, making it look newly bought from a store. It also kept the chill in the room, which wasn't good for me. I could hear the rain bouncing off the roof and slide down the window. The window was actully a door that opened up to a balcony, which was wide open, bringing the snowy cold from the outside. There was no lights on in the room as well as no heat source. I lied there on the bed, still as can be as the door opened and Shu walked into the room.

He was silent when he entured. He walked up to the bed to get a good look at me. I got a good look at him, seeing how he moved in front of my face. He looked tired, stairing down at me, with eyes that showed that he needed more sleep. He had his headphones in, as music blared into his ears. He had a sweatshirt drapped over his sholders, keeping him warm. I staired at the coat as I thought of the warmth, covering him. My eyes widdened as I struggled to move, but couldn't. Shu just looked at me, emptionless. "For once, I feel bad for your father" he said in a calm voice. I heard him shift as he looked back at the door, which was now open. He huffed as he looked at me. I felt the fear rushed in me more, knowing that he might bite me, seeing how I was defenseless and unable to move. If he did bite me, I wouldn't be too surprised, the rest of them wanted to bite. "Their going to kill me for this" he said in a sleepy tone to his voice.

He walked to the door, as he closed it and placed a chair in front of it, keeping his brothers out of the room. After he was done, he walked over to the window as he huffed. He looked at me as I looked at him. I couldn't move still and I was at the point where I wanted to cry. I was on the verge of dieing. "And I'm supposed to be the one that made the desicions" Shu said as he shut the window and locked it again. I struggled to look at him, as confusion spread all over my face. I didn't know what he was doing at all. He drapped the shades in front of the window as he spoke. "These shades will keep the room isolated, which means it should get warmer" he said walking away from it. He walked to the closet on the other side of the room, pulling out a couple more blankets. Unfolding them one by one, he walked back over to the bed and started to place them next to the bed. He ripped the covers of the bed off me, as he grabbed one of the thicker ones. "Hold still" he said as he leaned in closer. My eyes widdened as I sat there in fear. "Was he going to suffocate me with it?" I thought to myself as he bent over, wrapping it around me. Once he finished, he lifted up my body as he folded the end against my back, making me lay on it.

The blanet was wrapped too much around me, but I still had room to move a bit. He pulled the covers back on me, as he lied the rest of the blankets over. Once when he was all done, he looked over at me. He stroked my cheek with his hand as he sighed in relief. "Your finally getting warmer, that's good" he said as he smiled slightly. I looked at him in confusion. "Why was he being do nice to me?" I thought to myself. He looked down at me as I studied his eyes. He had either tiredness or boredom rushing through them. Slowly, he placed the outer side of his fingers up against my cheek. I flinched, moving my face away from him in fear. "Calm down, you need to warm up" he said sternly. I slowly opened my eyes, as I looked at him. I didn't know what to say to him. Why was he helping me? I didn't know what he wanted, but I wasn't giving my blood to anyone. Plus my dad wouldn't allow it. I shifted to look at the door as it opened, reveling a boy that looked familiar.

He was tall, with the same hair color as Uncle Ruki. He had green eyes with yellowish streaks going through them. He was dressed in jeans and a tee shirt, holding a jacket with him. He smiled, showing a fang peaking out of his mouth. Strangely, there was only one. "You poor kid" he said to me, as he walked up. He looked at Shu as he nodded. "Thanks for taking care of her" he spoke. Shu groaned as he got up from the bed, looked down at me, then back at the boy. "I'll contact your dad and tell him to get ready to meet us. We'll wait until she's warmer" Shu said as he walked out, leaving me alone with the strange boy. The boy pulled up a stool as he sat down next to me on the bed. I looked at him in confusion. I didn't remeber him at all, but he looked strangly familuar. He looked like Unckle Ruki only shorter and not that mean. I jolted my head at him trying to figure out who he was. "Do I know you?" I asked him, having the feeling grow within me. I felt like I knew him, but I couldn't quite put the thoughts together. He smiled as he chuckled. "You don't remember me? Man cuz, your funny" he chuckled then got serious. "You truley don't remember me, do you?"

I shook my head, getting very confused. "London, it's me, Dylan" he said with a smile. My eyes widden when I got a flashback of playing with him in their yard. Dillan was my older cousin, but he was like a brother to me. He was the son of Uncle Ruki. He didn't live with us because he got into a big fight with Uncle Ruki. "Oh my, where have you been?" I said to him. I was very confused at the thought of him being here. How did he get here? Why was he here? I had so many questions that I didn't know where to start. He looked at the window, seeing the curtain closed. "I just came into town and that Shu guy stopped me on the way. He said that I should be here to help him protect you. I guess they froze you, huh?" he asked confused. I nodded as I looked at the door. I huffed as I lied my head back on the pillow, now getting warm enough to move a bit. "I feel like a big fluff ball" I said with a sigh. He chuckled, then looked at the door. "Man, I hate those guys" he said with a grunt in his voice. "So you know them?" He nodded as he looked at me. " I went to school with Subaru. Man he has anger problems" he said angrily, looking at the door. The room was silent, as he turned to me. "You should probably get some rest, Uncle Yuma will get mad at me if I don't keep you warm" he said fixing the blanet. I nodded as I closed my eyes, feeling safe again.
