All was quiet throughout the dorms, every student asleep in there beds. All except one. A sleepy redhead was exiting his dorm, dressed in warm winter clothes. It was the first day of December, which meant Christmas was in the air. It was that time of year where everyone was happy and joyful. Every door was adorned with a wreath, each house holding at least one Christmas tree. Each street was carefully decorated, bringing each nook and cranny of the city to life. Walking through the streets of any town during Christmas time could lift your spirits in a mere 10 minutes.
That was what the redhead wanted to do for his and his boyfriends room. He wanted that spirit of Christmas to liven up their day each time they came home from classes. After all, his boyfriend wasn't exactly the cheeriest of people, but when the blonde smiled, it made the redhead's heart soar.
Kirishima had snaked his way out of Bakugou's arms, leaving the dorms at approximately 5am. Sure, it was a little early for the redhead, but it would all be worth it in the end. Leaving the dorm building (with his sensei's approval of course) at 5:30am was both one of Kirishima's worst and best ideas ever. It was the worst because it left him exhausted, but the best, for it would hopefully make Bakugou smile. Cold air met Kirishima's exposed face as soon as he opened the door, making him want to turn back. No, he had to do this. Real men don't let the temperature push them around. Strolling down the sidewalk, Kirishima kept looking up at the signs of each store, hoping to find the one he was looking for. Time went by, Kirishima now completely exhausted, but he knew he had to keep going. For Bakugou. Once he was beginning to give up, the store came into Kirishima's view. He began running, hoping and praying that the store had a heater. It was extremely cold outside, the redhead wasn't sure if he could take the cold anymore. Opening and closing the door in a rush, Kirishima smiled softly as he found that the place had a heater.
"Good morning sir! Is there anything we can help you with?" A friendly female employee greeted him, making the redhead smile.
"Yea, do you know where the Christmas lights and tinsel are?" Kirishima asked, getting a soft nod from the female employee. Turning around, she began guiding him to the section of the store filled with Christmas decor. The redhead found exactly what he was looking for, quickly paying for it and began his journey back to the dorms.
When Kirishima arrived back at his and Bakugou's dorm, he was surprised to find the blonde still deep in slumber. Smirking, the redhead dropped the bags onto the floor, and began decorating. Lights, tinsel, candles, and random knick-knacks began falling into place, bringing the small dorm room to life.
After about an hour of work, Kirishima sat down on the floor, completely exhausted. Lights sparkled throughout the room, candles making the room smell of Christmas cookies. All that Kirishima needed now was to see Bakugou's face when he woke up.
It took around another half an hour, but Bakugou finally decided to get up. At first, the blonde had no idea what was happening, still dazed from sleep. Then it hit him. Shooting up in his and Kirishima's bed, the blonde turned to look at the redhead on the floor.
"Eijirou? Did you do this?" Bakugou asked, pushing himself out of bed to join the redhead on the floor. Nodding softly, Kirishima smiled. He watched as his boyfriend took in his surroundings, a soft look on his face. Kirishima knew that Bakugou was secretly a softie when it came to both him, and Christmas.
"Oh my god, Eijirou...this is fucking amazing." The blonde muttered, sitting down in front of his boyfriend. Kirishima smiled softly, reaching out and grabbing the blonde's calloused hands.
"Merry early Christmas Katsuk-" Kirishima didn't even get a chance to finish his sentence, Bakugou jumping forward to tackle his lover to the ground. Out of nowhere, the blonde pressed his soft lips upon his partners, locking them in a loving kiss. It lasted for a few moments, each boy bathing in the bliss before having to pull away. To both Kirishima and Bakugou, it was the perfect start to their holiday season, together.
