It was finally that time of year again. That one time of year Bakugou was allowed to show off his crazy amazing baking skills. Christmas cookies were his speciality, and he was ready to bake. With Kirishima by his side of course. The year before, Bakugou had basically begged Aizawa to let him bake Christmas cookies last year, promising he'd pay for all the ingredients himself. He managed to get up at 3am to make Christmas cookies by himself. Luckily, he had his headphones in, soft season appropriate music playing in his ears. It was the most calming thing he had done in a while. It was still in the earlier phases of his and Kirishima's relationship, plus, they weren't sleeping in the same room at that time. Now, it was time for the two of them to make cookies together. At 3am. Soft Christmas music playing in the background. Bakugou smiled softly at the thought as he lay next to Kirishima. The ingredients were already in the kitchen, ready as soon as the clock struck 3am.
"Eijirou...thank you for agreeing to bake with me." Bakugou muttered out of nowhere, pushing his face a little more into the redheads chest. They had decided to hit they hay a little early, they didn't want to be tired while making cookies right? It was currently 8pm, the blonde now getting a little impatient. Only 7 hours to go, right?
"No problemo babe...but also, please calm down a lil' we need to sleep." Kirishima whispered softly, kissing the top of Bakugou's blonde locks. Letting a soft breath escape him, the blonde curled into his boyfriend's chest. He began feeling a little sleepy, hearing Kirishima as he began to sing to him. His boyfriends soft voice lulled him off to sleep, the redhead following soon after.
Bakugou was awaken to the sound of his alarm beeping wildly. It was baking time. The blonde wasted no time, turning off him alarm before going to wake his boyfriend. Placing a kiss on the redheads lips, Bakugou smiled. He climbed out of bed wearing kirishima's big red sweater (which had become his favorite item of clothing) and a pair of gray sweats. Sliding on his slippers, bakugou turned around to see his boyfriend doing the same.
"Let's go babe...and don't worry I've got my phone AND the christmas music playlist ready." The redhead told the blonde, putting him at ease. As they two tiptoed down the hallway, they swear they heard a softly groan. At that, they picked up speed a little, soon arriving in the kitchen. Bakugou pulled the keys out of his pocket, unlocking the door with care. They slid in, Bakugou making sure to look the door. The lights were already on, all the ingredients placed on the counter. Kirishima gasped slightly, making the blonde giggle. He was so excited to show his boyfriend that he could bake.
"Alright, let's go. We fucking got this Eijirou." Bakugou said softly, smiling. Kirishima opened his phone, turning on their Christmas song playlist. Whilst Bakugou set everything up, Kirishima grabbed the aprons. They happened to be matching Christmas ones. Of course, the redhead gave the cuter one to his boyfriend, watching as he tied the cloth piece around him. Then, they began baking. Bakugou had to guide Kirishima quite a bit, making the blonde blush a little harder each time. Sugar, flour, and chocolate chips flew everywhere, the soft music still playing in the background. Bakugou loved baking so much, and he loved this even more now that Kirishima was here with him. Showing him how to mix the batter and cut the shapes was one of the most amazing feelings he's ever had. Currently the cookies were in the oven, both boys resting on the floor. The blonde boy sat in the tallers lap, Kirishima resting his head atop his boyfriends. It was nice little break for the boys, who had just spent about an hour making and preparing the cookies. Bakugou almost fell asleep at one point, the timer soon waking him. Time for decorating.
"Oi Katsuki, can I design the cookies how ever I want?" Kirishima asked, looking to his boyfriend hopefully. The blonde nodded, not being able to say no to his boyfriends puppy eyes. Bakugou and Kirishima then got to work, decorating the cookies to their hearts content. Kirishima had even put a little icing on bakugou's nose, which in turn made the blonde giggle. Bakugou was in an extremely happy and laid back mood, letting Kirishima basically have his way the whole time. It was just so much fun baking with his boyfriend. He also made a mental note to turn off his alarm for tomorrow morning, the boys were staying home.
After they finished baking, Bakugou packaged the cookies as Kirishima cleaned the kitchen, making sure every trace of them was gone. After everything was cleaned up and done, the boys left the kitchen, taking the cookies and leaving the key. Kirishima had to basically drag the blonde back to bed, laying the boy down as soon as they made it back to their dorm. Pulling off both his and Bakugou's slippers, Kirishima dove under the covers. He gently cradled his boyfriend in his arms, both of them falling into a deep slumber. Kirishima had luckily remembered to turn off Bakugou's alarm. Now they could sleep in peace, both boys going to bed both full in stomach, heart and spirit.
