Bakugou opened his eyes, attempting to blink some of the eye boogers away. His eyes were still red and puffy from crying the night before, a small trail of tears left on his cheeks. Bakugou only remembers Kirishima's soft voice lulling him to sleep with a story. Bakugou yawned, wiping his eyes free of sleep. Turning onto his side, Bakugou watched the redhead as he slept. He was probably pretty exhausted after dealing with him last night. When Bakugou is sad, there is no getting anything about it until he's calmed. Well, since he was calmed now, he should let Kirishima know what happened. After all, Kirishima and Bakugou promised they would never keep anything from one another, no matter how embarrassing it was. It was something that made their relationship so open and comfortable.
The redhead then awoke, pulling the blonde from his thoughts. Red eyes met red, the taller boy hugging the blonde a little tighter in his arms.
"Morning Katsuki. Are you feeling better now?" Kirishima muttered, his voice still deep from sleep. The blonde nodded, nuzzling himself further into the redhead for warmth. He was gonna tell Kirishima what happened.
"I-- my m-mom isn't doing to well. T-they said they aren't sure if s-she'll make it. I-I'm sorry...didn't mean to freak out like that..." Bakugou sounded broken, his voice cracking here and there. Kirishima didn't say anything, pressing a soft kiss to the blondes nose. Bakugou's nose scrunched up a little bit, making the redhead laugh.
"It's alright Katsuki...I'll be here with you through this whole ordeal. And it was perfectly okay for you to freak out. It your mother. I just was so worried about you, you know how I get." Kirishima muttered in response, holding the blonde closely. The redhead wanted to do something to make the blonde feel a little better. He then thought of an amazing idea. Pushing Bakugou to get up, Kirishima pulled the bedside table a little more so it was in their view. Then he walked over to the small TV, picking in up and moving it over to the table. Bakugou watched confused as Kirishima turned the TV on, returning back to the bed.
"What movie do you want to watch?" Kirishima asked, settling himself against the wall. A small gasp left the blondes mouth, a smile soon spreading across his face. Bakugou grabbed the remote from his redhead of a boyfriend, switching through the channels until he found the movie he was looking for. The grinch. He'd fight anyone who said the grinch wasn't a good movie. Now settling down, the blonde pulled all the blankets and pillows around him and Kirishima. The redhead watched as the blonde settled down next to him, blankets and pillows pilling over them. When Bakugou finally rested his head on Kirishima's shoulder, the redhead let out a soft giggle, putting his arm around his boyfriend's waist. He then sat back, enjoying the movie.
The movie was done, the screen covered in the credits. Bakugou smiled softly, not wanting to lift his head from Kirishima's shoulder. Speaking of Kirishima, his hand had moved from the blondes waist, now holding one of the blondes hands with his own, their fingers laced tightly together. Kirishima smiled, picking up the controller and switching to another movie. One movie day wouldn't kill them, right?
