The two first years sat on the bench on the hallways. Yachi has calmed down already and she has no intention on going back to the party and she almost has no energy left so she needs to rest before she goes home. Hinata sighed in relief when Yachi said that she's fine already in a much better state but he just can't leave her alone because he's still worrying about her. Nobody spoke for minutes. As much as Hinata wants to talk and ask her questions, he respects her desire for silence.

Hinata stood up then went to the vending machine beside the bench where they are sitting on. He scanned the drinks before picking his choice. The drinks rolled down and he picked them up from the outlet. He handed her one of the can.

"Is this okay?" He asked her.

Her eyes that were in the floor turned to the can in his hand. She made a small hum and nods. She takes the can from him and opens it. The ginger stares at her before sitting back again. He opens his can as well then gulps it down.

"Thank you, Hinata," the girl finally said.

Hinata stops drinking then looks at her. He places his can on the seat beside him, still holding it.

"You're welcome. Ah, you don't have to pay for that. It's my treat," he smiled.

She giggles at this. "Well, it's not just this," she looks at him and then the can. "I mean, you were there to help me. And you're still here to accompanying me. I hope I'm not spoiling your fun, though."

"Naahh, it's cool with me. I told you earlier, right? I would spend the party with you. Even though this is not the party," he laughs.

Yachi thought that his laugh is cute that she'll never get tired listening to it. This makes her smile. She's so lucky she found a friend this nice.

Hinata had already finished his juice. He turned to Yachi and asked, "Wanna go outside?"

Yachi's face brightens at his question. She nods. "Of course! Ah, but let me finish this first," she gulps down the drink the boy gave her.

After she finished her drink, they leave their spot. Yachi kept the can with her, not to be creepy or anything. It's just that it's the first time she received something from a friend.

Before they could exit, the guard stops them and asks where they are going. Hinata said that the person with him is not feeling good and she needs some fresh air, which is true. He examines the girl who is looking pale, as if she'll vomit on the floor anytime. He was convinced by her looks then he lets them out.

They finally feel much better when they got out. Both inhaled the fresh air as the cold wind brushes their skin. It is late night so most of the people are already asleep, making the surrounding quiet and peaceful. The moon provides enough light to the few people walking outside.

Hinata spotted an ice cream parlor that is 24/7 open not far from where they are standing. An idea suddenly pops from Hinata's head.

"Hey, do wanna grab some ice cream?" He asks, pointing at the ice cream parlor.
"Sure," she replied.

He takes her hand and both runs towards the ice cream parlor. They make sure to check if there are vehicles around before crossing the streets. They panted as they finally reached the front of the ice cream parlor. There are only few people inside, obviously, because it is night. They stand in front of the counter and choose their orders. Yachi volunteers on paying her ice cream but Hinata insists. They stay there for few minutes before deciding to leave.

"Do you want to go home now?" Hinata asks as they stroll on a nearby park.

Yachi checks her watch. It's 9:53 already.

"Woah, it's already this late? I had so much fun I lost track of the time," she nervously laughs. "Yeah, I guess. I don't want to worry mom. I'll just ask her to pick me up. How about you?"

"You don't need to call your mom. Let her rest. I'll take you home. It's a guy's duty to take a girl home safely, after all," he replies, smiling.

For some reason, what he said and that smile makes her warm inside. It's not just happiness. It feels more than that. It's a new, weird feeling.

"A-are you sure?" She asks.

"Your stuttering came back. That's cute," Hinata laughs. "I kinda noticed that you don't stutter anymore. Although it's fine if you still do. And yeah. I still want to be outside and I have nothing to do in our house."

"Hm, I see."

The walk to Yachi's house isn't quiet and awkward at all thanks to Hinata. He won't stop talking about random things while the other is feeling a little nervousness which wasn't present earlier when they were hanging out. She wonders what has gotten into her. When they reach the entrance, Yachi thanks him and both bid farewell to each other. She knocks on their door and few minutes later, it opens. Madoka has that curious look on her face but changes into a relief one after seeing her girl.

"I'm home."

"Welcome back. How's the party?"

Party. The first thing that pops out inside her head is Hinata. She actually almost forgot her panic attack earlier but that is not important anymore.

"It was fun. Really."

The first scene was based on experience when I had a panic attack in school and I have to sit on the bench on the hallway and a teacher ordered one college guy to look after me while waiting for my dad to pick me up. He was asking lots of questions while I was wheezing, like, bruh
