"Go watch our practice if you're free later."

It was the first time someone invited her after school. It somehow made her happy. But remembering the reason why she's in the infirmary in the first place, she decided to decline.

"As much as I would like to, I still have something to do after school. Maybe next time."

"I see. Well, it can't be helped. I'll just wait for that time. For now, let me bring you back to your class."

Class. She really doesn't want to go. But she has to. She's been skipping lots of classes lately and she doesn't want to get left behind. She gets up from bed and wears her shoes which are under the bed. Hinata went to the nurse and said that they will be leaving. The two left the infirmary with Hinata wrapping his arm around Yachi's shoulders to make sure that she won't fall or stumble. Once they reached her classroom, anxiety gushed all over Yachi's body. She took a big gulp before she lets go of Hinata. She felt pale and this didn't escaped Hinata's sight. He's been asking her if she is alright and Yachi would reply that she's fine. Still a little worried, Hinata tells her goodbye before going back to his class.

As soon as she steps foot on her classroom, all eyes turn to her. This made her really nervous. Another thing that she noticed is a group of girls whispering something to each other and would take glances at her. Their eyes are filled with judgement and disgust. Yachi wondered what happened. She awkwardly went to her seat with her eyes on the ground. She feels like they're digging holes on her with those stares. After taking her seat, three girls approach her — two with disgusted looks and one crying.

"Yachi-san, why did you ran off from class earlier?" One barked.

She raised an eyebrow. What's with the sudden question? "U-um... I-I went to the clinic. W-why?"

"Then?"

Then? What are the they trying to imply?

"H-huh?"

"Just so you know, the moment you rushed off from the classroom, one of our classmates' wallet disappeared. We checked everyone's bags and their pockets, checked the whole place and you've been hiding the whole time while we're searching."

"And we've noticed that it's a habit of yours to leave the class almost everyday. It's becoming fishy, you know."

The glares are getting sharper and sharper. This situation is suffocating her. They are definitely telling that she's the one who did it. But even if she tries to defend herself, she won't be able to say a word. She feels like her tears are about to fall. Her hands feel like shaking again.

"I-it's n-not what you thi-think..." she shakes her head no. "I-I-I..."

She couldn't hold it anymore. Her tears flowed uncontrollably. Her chest hurts so bad that she can hardly breathe. She stood up furiously, took her bag and ran off the classroom. Everyone on the room looked surprised and look at each other.

She feels unaccepted and untrustworthy. Just because she has no friend in the class doesn't mean that they have to treat her that way. She's a human as well. They have no rights to accuse her just like that just because she has no ally in their class. It's just unfair. It feels really painful. The way they look at her with those eyes is really terrifying and hurtful. There's no way she wants to go back there again.

Upon reaching their apartment, she unlocks the door with her keys and slammed it close. She runs towards her room while toppling as she hits the sofa and some cabinets. She opens her room and locks it. She puts her bag down and flops on her bed. She hugs her pillow tightly and lets her tears flow. Crying and sobbing fills the room. Negative thoughts filled her mind as she cries.

At that moment, depression grows inside her.
