Clementines pov
I watched as Eleanor walked in and whispered something in Gabe's ear. He nodded and she left.
"Y-you can leave from here now" Gabe says and i nod and he starts tearing up
"I can't let anyone see you" He says and i give him a confused look.
"I- you...They know that you killed Claire and they are gonna kick you out. W-we have to go to my house. Aj will be safe at my moms" Gabe says and i nod. I get up and a we sneak out and walked to his house.
"Gabe...I'm sorry i'm causing trouble sometimes i wish me and Aj avoided coming here" I say and he frowns
"Clementine i'm glad you came...I love you" He says and i smile
"I- anyways how have you been holding up?" I ask and he frowns. Probably since i didn't say it back.
"...Great" He says and he grabs my hand as we walk inside of his house and sit near the kitchen counter on a chair.
"Im glad you cane back...Even if you don't want to be here we can leave! Together and Aj. Clementine i love you a-lot and i never knew i'd like someone so much ever since this shit started...Clementine i love you really" He says and i smile
"Gabe..." I say
"Yeah?" He says. Before i could reply Javier ran inside with pudding and started yelling
"Gabe you have a supply run now...You might now be back for a while...Its gonna be you me and a few others" He says and Gabe frowns. I watched as Javier took a bite of his pudding and left.
"So i'm gonna be gone for awhile and i want you to keep your cool. Don't lose it!" He says and i nod
"W-What if you dont come back?" I ask, frowning.
"I will...I love you" He says and i stand up and gave him a hug. I loved our hugs a-lot. Well just being near him i loved
"I love you too" I say and he smiles. We started leaning in and then we kissed. It reminded of me of the old innocent us. The people i miss.
"Bye" He says and walks off.
