Clementines pov-
Its been awhile since i've been on my own. I don't know how many months, but it has too be over or near a year by now. I look down at Aj and smiled... I couldn't even carry him...Not that he lets me. He should be around 10? I lost track of my age too... I grabbed my gun from my holster and so did Aj. Yeah...He now has a gun...Its never to young to be safe. He gets behind me not that he wanted to but he knows he has to. I open the door and saw a boy on the ground. I frown about to leave until he started crying. I motioned Aj to follow me to look through the window. Right when i did that he started putting the gun in his mouth and i ran into the building
"Don't do it" I say and he drops the gun... He wiped his tears, grabbing his gun and point it towards me. I hurriedly looked behind me and didn't see Aj
"Turn...Around" I heard Aj and the boy turned around as Aj was pointing his gun at him. The boy putted his gun down and i grabbed it.
"Wheres your group?" I ask and he gets mad
"Dead" He says and i nod.
"Anyways before you drew the gun i was gonna say you have more to live for...You don't need to kill yourself..." I say and Aj walks towards me
"Your right..." He says and i nod
"I know" I say smirking and he sighs
"Whats your name" He asks and i laugh
"Were not friends" I say and he nods "But im Clementine" I say and he waves
"Nice...My name is Mark" He says and i smile
"Cool" I say and he pulls his backpack towards him and i noticed a certain someone's beanie. I got mad and stuck my gun up
"Where did you get that" I shout angry
"I found it...It was in a cabin i saw a few months ago" He says and i hesitated but pulled my gun down and put it back away
"Anyone dead near it?" I ask and he nods 'no'
"Alright well i'm going...I- since i helped you is it okay if i have that beanie?" I ask and he nods handing it to me. I smile and held it close
"Thanks" I say and me and Aj head out, i glance back and noticed the boy leaving as-well. While me and Aj were walking we noticed a small group of walkers, We ran fast enough so they could see us, and track more. I noticed the wind has been picking up lately and its been colder...This means winter is coming. I sigh and look at Aj. He only had pants and a long sleeve shirt on. I have to get us jackets...
"We need winter gear" I say and Aj nods
"Yeah...Its been getting colder" Aj says and i nod
"Yeah..." I say
"Why did you get mad about the orange hat?" Aj asks and i look down and noticed i was still hugging the beanie. I smile
" A good friends beanie" I say and Aj smiles
"Like a boyfriend?" He asks and i blush
"Nun of your business" I say embarrassed and Aj laughs
"Sorry" He says and i smile
"Yeah yeah"
"Where is he?" Aj asks and i smile
"No clue...I left him to take care of you...Even though he saved you" I say and feel a warm feeling inside of me
"Oh...I would like to meet him" Aj says and i nod
"Same" I say
"I would like to thank him for saving you and me" He says and i smile.
"Maybe if we're lucky we can find a community" I say and Aj nods, i look down at my compass then noticed theres a town near. I smiled knowing i've been there and its a lovely town...
"I know a town near" I say and Aj gets excited
Several hours laterrrrrr
Once we arrived at the gate i noticed a familiar face...Eleanor!
"CLEMENTINE" She yells and i smile. She opens the gate and runs down to me. She hugs me and Aj.
"He is here...Just i have to warn you" She says and i frown
"Yeah?" I ask impatient
"He has a...Girlfriend" She says and i frown but nod
"Oh...Okay...Can we...Stay here?" I ask and she nods
"Also...Don't tell anyone i'm here" I say to Eleanor and nods. We walk inside and someone hands me a room key. I smile as me and Aj walks to our room.
"Settle in!" Aj yells and i smile. He goes lay down on the couch that was there
"I'm going look around and bring back food" I say and Aj smiles. Then yells okay back to me. I walk outside as the sun shined in my face. I walked around and noticed there was a place that said
"Take some food" I remembered the sign for later and started walking when i noticed...Him...With his hands on a girl that looked familiar...That girl i got into a fight with...The bitch that scratched me...CLAIRE was her name! I think? I stopped staring and laughed. What a bitch! I smiled and grabbed the food for me and Aj and went back to our home. As i was cooking the green beans and other food i looked up into the window and noticed Gabe drinking lots of...What looked like Voka? No clue... I sigh and hand Aj his food and we ate. Once we were done he got really tired from all of the walking that was going on today and i went outside and sat on the porch stairs. Then i saw a familiar face with a kid that looked around 5? Kate and her daughter Jess! Aw shes such a sweetheart! I smiled and had to say hi. I walked dup to Kate and tapped her shoulder. She immediately dropped her canned soup and hugged me.
"Oh my god" She says into my ear and i let go smiling
"Hey" I say and she started tearing up. I looked down at Jess who just held my leg hugging it. I smiled
"Oh fuck...Do you know?" She asks and i nod
"Yeah..." I say and she nods hugging me once more.
"Does he know?" She asks
"Nope..." I say and she nods
"Hmm...Okay...Are you gonna tell him?" She asks and i nod yes.. I looked over towards him and noticed his whore was leaving
"Wheres she going" I ask and she looks towards the whores way
"Supply run...God i hate that bitch" Kate says and i laugh
"She was the one i fought" I say and kate laughs
"Oh god did she get her ass beat" She says laughing and i nod and started smiling...Heres my chance
"I'm gonna say hey to him!" I say and she nods telling me she had to go feed jess. I walked inside my house and grabbed his beanie. I noticed he was sitting alone with his head hidden and his arms holding his head up. I smile and walk up to him
"I suppose you lost this?" I say holding his beanie out near his face as he looked up
