Jack's pov
I frantically woke up from remembering what happened and noticed two boys staring at me. One older then the other who looked 12.
"Who are you?" I asked. Their attention turned to me and smiled.
"Good morning" The kid says.
"We want to be friends" The older one says. He comes up to me, sticking a hand forward. I gladly accept it and get up.
"We noticed you are looking for someone" The kid says.
"What Aj means is that we'll help you but you have to tell us every you know about her" The oldest one smiles.
"O-okay" I say reliving the things me and her have been through. "Clementine, the girl, she is the one who saved my ass multiple times. I confessed my feelings to her at a water tower hours away and she denied them, saying she couldn't and already loves someone. His name is Gabe or something. It was blurry when she said no" I say. The two boys looked a bit hurt but i shrugged it off.
"Anything else?" The kid asks.
"Yeah, actually i noticed she's really depressed and shit" I said.
"Okay" The kid says
"Can you direct us to her" The oldest said.
"Yeah, well last i saw her" I said. We all left the store and i directed them. Then small talk started.
"How did she look to you?" The oldest asked. He is a Curious George him.
"When we first met she could barely walk. She told me something about being left and it was a trouble to escape the place. Especially since she lost everything" I said the them. The oldest had a hurt look on his face.
"I never got any names" I asked.
Gabe's pov
I knew i couldn't say my name since he new me and it might ruin everything.
"I'm bob and this-this is Ranger" I said pointing to Aj. Aj looked at me and started giggling.
"What's funny?" Jack asked Aj.
"I thought of a joke" He says. Good save Ranger.
Hours later
We stopped at a water tower along with dead walkers near.
"She was here when i left" He said "but she did go north" He said
"Okay see you" I say grabbing Aj's hand and running in the direction.
I'm gonna make a new book! I'm gonna finish off a few more then upload my new one. Its going to be VV detailed and have plot twists everywhere. Give me ideas if you'd like. OOF also if you want to be in it comment a character description so,,,
