Guts
"Cover yourself in the guts" Aj immediately says as we look at the herd that was approaching slowly. I nod and looked at a recent walker i killed, grabbing its ankle and pulling it to the group. I slowly cut its stomach as everyone starts shoving one hand inside pulling apart the dead walker. I grabbed a hand full of the guts and wiped it all over Aj and Kate and Javier wiped each other with the guts. I got Aj to give me a hand with mine and we grabbed our backpacks. Sooner or later the herd caught up and we all walked into the herd holding each others hands. A walker slowed down and stared at Aj, grabbing his hair. I quickly shoot the walker and we all run to a café. Javier and I boarded the doors with as much tables and chairs and went into the storage room. I checked Aj for bites and lucky nothing. I looked around the smallish storage room and saw a lantern with a book beside it. Someone may have been here recently...I grabbed the book and noticed it was in a different language...Maybe dutch? I dropped the book down and grabbed my booksack, getting my journal. I opened it and started writing.
I'm protecting Aj as much as i can. Yet we are running out of ammo and food... We can't make it any longer without luck. Once we find you everything will be better! We haven't been heading to you, even though Javi says we are. I know we aren't even near you.

I close my book with a faint smile, looking up at Javi and Kate who were making out again. I mean they take me from my love yet they do this in front me. She died alone, and that kills me.
