Pass me the beans
"Pass me the beans" I look over to Javi who was handing me my can, fresh from the fire. I grabbed my rusty spoon from my backpack and dug in. I felt the juice drip down my chin, onto my ripped bloody shirt. I sighed and finished eating, knowing this was all for the day. I finished and set my empty can near my side. I grabbed my backpack and wiped my spoon, shoving it inside. I heard Aj sigh and watched as he tossed his can into the woods. Kate and Javier got up and worked on the van thats been broken for about 3 months now. I adjusted my backpack on my back and went into my tent and sat down, setting my backpack to my side and grabbing my notebook and pen. I found it the day we left her. Ever since then i wrote at least a page a day. I took the cap off of my pen and started writing
Its been exactly 2 and half years since Clementine and I've been separated. I forgot how she looked, i forgot the beautiful sparkle that always twinkled in her eyes. I forgot her face and body structure. I forgot her beautiful smooth voice. Aj is now 12 and misses her as much as i do.
I love you Clem,
I'm coming for you.

Yet i still think shes fighting her way here. I force myself up and set my notebook gently in my bag. Of course its my 3rd journal i've had since.
I unzip my tent and went outside and stared and Kate and Javier. I used to have a relationship like them. It was sweet and innocent... I slowly crawled back into my tent and forced myself to fall asleep.
