I find Jer's body in the cave.
I hold him in my arms, crying.

I check his hand; the Gilbert ring is still on his finger.

Tears are streaming down my face.
Third Person Pov
Stefan and Elena walk in and look in shock.
Elena starts crying.
Upper Cave Chamber
How'd this happen? "Damon asked.
It was Katherine and Janet. They must have been following us this whole time. "Elena told him sadly.
What about the cure, or Silas? "Damon asked.
If there was anything in there at all, it's all gone. "Stefan said.
Where the hell is Bonnie? "Damon asked.
We have no idea. She went looking for Jeremy last night. She never came back. Damon, Emely is in there waiting for the Gilbert ring to bring Jeremy back to life. "Elena told him.
She's hoping he would take the hint.
Okay, fine. I'll wait with her. "Damon said.
She sighed.
He didn't.
Damon starts walking toward the well opening but Stefan puts up a hand to stop him.
Damon, listen to me. Jeremy was one of the Five, a hunter. "Stefan told him.
He's supernatural. The ring won't work anymore. "Damon said realizing.
He pauses.
She won't survive this. I'll find Bonnie. You get Emely and Elena off this island. "Damon said.
Damon. Janet has magic, we don't know how so be careful. "Stefan told him.

Why won't she survive this? She has me. "Elena said hurt.
Elena the promise she made that day the car went off the bridge. Wasn't just about you. She mainly made that promise for Jeremy. He was the youngest out of both of you. "Damon told her softly.
She started crying.
My brother's gone. "She cried.
Stefan hugged her.
Stefan nodded Damon to go and Damon left.
Gilbert Residence
Emely's Pov
Me and Elena walk in the house, Stefan is behind us carrying Jer's body.
He's fine.
He'll wake up I know it.
Hey, you're home. I was trying to clean the burn mark where Kol-- "Caroline started.
She sees Stefan carrying Jer, his body wrapped in a blanket.
I couldn't get the spot out. "She finished.
Stefan shakes his head a little at Caroline.
Come on. Let's get him upstairs. "I said.
