Mystic Falls High School

So Piper, Pheobe, Paige, and Leo left last night.

I'm just happy that they helped me with what I'm going through.

I'm leaning against a wall in a small alcove outside of the school when Matty walks up to me.

He smiles.

Kind of weird, doing this in mine and elena's old makeout spot. "He said.

I gave him a disgusted look.

He chuckled.

Thank you for doing this. I can't keep anything else down. "I told him smiling.
It's okay. I kind of owe you my life, remember? "He said.

I sighed.

Yeah, but I didn't make Stefan save your life so that I could turn you into a human blood bag. "I told him sternly.

Emely, please, just... "He started.

He rolls up his sleeve and extends his arm towards me.

Let me do this for you. "He said.

We stare at each other for a moment.

I grab his arm and bites into his wrist.

As soon as I begin to feel the bloodlust take over, I stop and let go of him.

He looks down at his wrist.

Was that enough? "He asked.

I wipe the blood off my face.

No. But, if I had anymore, I'm afraid I wouldn't stop. Here. "I said.

I take out a bandage from my bag and apply it to his wrist.

Thank you. "I told him.

He nods at me. The bell rings.

I jump down onto a table and then to the ground.

Matty jumps down beside me.

We walk across the school grounds.

So, you really think school is the best place for you right now? "He asked.

The vampire hunter knows that Damon's a vampire and that I know Damon. Hiding at home would be more suspicious. Besides, I want to be here. It's my senior year. I survived this long, there's no way I'm bailing before graduation. "I told him rolling my eyes.

I see a pamphlet on the windshield of a car reading "Mandatory Curfew All Ages Commencing @ 10 PM Until Further Notice" which is issued by the Police Department and I pick it up so I can read it clearly.

Town called for a curfew? "I asked confused.

Tyler got shot in front of half the town. Everyone's a little freaked. "Matty said.

If only they knew the real story. "I sighed.

Class

Me, Elena and Stefan sit down in our desks.

I look at Elena, who is staring at the front of the room, looking like she is about to cry.

Stefan noticed.

Me and Stefan look at the front as well, noticing the chalkboard with Ric's handwritten notes on it.

I sigh seeing why she's sad.

It's the first time we've been back in Alaric's classroom... "Stefan said.

First period, and I'm ready to bawl my eyes out. "Elena sighed.
