We're at a memorial service for Carol Lockwood.
I can't believe Klaus killed her.
Everyone is lighting candles in glass cups as part of the service.
Sheriff Forbes is speaking at a podium in front of the stand.

I'm sitting next to Caroline with Tyler.

What? Tyler? Tyler? "Caroline called.
He stands up and leaves the gym.
Leave him. He needs to be alone. "I told her softly.
She looked down sadly.
Please join me in observing a minute silence in her memory. "Sheriff Forbes said.
Everyone puts their heads down for the minute of silence.
I look over to the other side of the gym and see Rebekah.
I close my eyes and look again, but she's not there.
Are you okay? "Bonnie asked.
Fine. "I mumbled.
I stand up and leave the gym.
I can feel Elena following me.
I'm walking down the hallway and stop when I hear someone crying.
I turn around the corner and find April.
April, what's wrong? "Elena asked walking up to her.
Something didn't feel right.
Nothing. I'm fine. "April lied.
Her heart skipped a beat.
But you're crying? "Elena said.
It's just the whole mayor thing, you know. It's bringing stuff up about my dad. "April said.
Elena. "I called.
What? "She asked.
Something's wrong. "I whispered.
And I know Emely's a vampire. "April said.
That caught me off guard.
Elena looked shocked.
Wait, what? "Elena said.
Rebekah comes out of nowhere and smashes Elena's head against the locker.
Was that necessary? "April asked.
No, but it was fun. "Rebekah smiled.
I vamped out and vamp-sped at her.
She grabbed me and threw me at the locker.
I got up ripped the locker and hit her with it.
She got angry.
Uh oh. "I mumbled.
Her face vamped-out and she rushed at me.
I dodged her and she hit the wall.
I kicked her stomach and she flew against the locker.
She stood up and threw me across the hall.
I'm surprised no one in the gym can hear us.
I tackled her to the ground.
She sped us to the lockers my back winced in pain.
I twisted her wrist and threw her at the wall.
I walked up to her and kicked her stomach.
I felt a pain in my neck and then everything went black..........
