Me and Stefan are lying under a blanket on the floor of the woods.

I look at him and smile.

Hi. "He replied.

1 Hour Earlier

Me and Stefan are walking through the woods.

We see a deer eating nearby.

I breathe heavily.

Close your eyes. "Stefan said.

I look up at him, then I close my eyes.

Stefan rushes at the deer and I open my eyes and gasp.

1 Hour Earlier

I get up from the ground.

The deer runs off.

I watch it leave scared it might not heal.

Third Person Pov

Salvatore Boarding House

No, I think I'd like her to skip that part. "Stefan said.

Damon starts unpacking the bags that Stefan was packing for the trip in the woods.

She can't learn to control the bloodlust, if she's never actually experienced the bloodlust. "Damon told him.
What are you doing? Knock it off. "Stefan said frustrated.

Damon continues to unpack the bag.

It's a cheat. It's like giving a kid a calculator before they know math. "Damon said.

I said stop it! "Stefan said angrily.

Stefan grabs Damon's arm.

Damon pushes his arm off of him.

They stare each other down.

Emely's Pov

I touch the blood around my mouth shocked.

Don't worry, he'll heal. Bigger animals are more resilient. "Stefan said.

I turn and face him.

Hey. "He said.

He dabs at the blood around my mouth with a cloth.

You did it. I know it's hard.... "He started.

He caresses my face.

But you can do this. "He finished.

I nod my head confidently.

I can do this. "I whispered.

He smiles.

Third Person Pov

Emely enters Stefan's room.

Damon and Stefan are still staring at each other.

Woah, what's going on? "Emely asked.

We're just having a little disagreement about process. "Stefan told her.

You're still not on board with the animal plan. "Emely said looking at Damon.

Stefan stops the stare down with Damon and goes back to packing the bag.

Nope. I say rip off the proverbial band-aid and let it bleed. You're a vampire, Emely. Be a vampire. "Damon told her.

Stefan finishes packing and walks over towards Emely.
