Emely wakes up in her bed.
She gets out of bed and goes to her desk.
She grabs a Journal.

Dear Journal, I know this is stupid. But Stefan wanted me to write this stuff down, so I'm giving it a shot. The thing is: I'm a vampire and I hate it. But I need to get used to it there is no cure for this.  "Emely's voice over said.

Salvatore Boarding House

Stefan is sitting at his desk, writing in his journal.

She's been spiraling since her transition and at times I barely recognize her. But now, for the first time in a while, there's hope. "Stefan's voice over said.

Gilbert Residence

Emely sits down on her window seat, opens the Journal, and begins to write.

I feel hopeless, depressed, scared, but most of all; I'm angry. "Emely's voice over said.

Salvatore Boarding House

Stefan still writes at his desk.

Somewhere in the world, there's a cure for vampires. If I can get it, Emely can be human again. I can give her back her life. "Stefan's voice over said.

Gilbert Residence

Emely continues to write in the journal.

Part of me just wants to end it, but then I think of Jeremy and Elena. I'm all they have left, so I need to find a way through this. No matter what it takes. "Emely's voice over said.

Salvatore Boarding House

Stefan finishes up writing in his journal.

So, that's what I need to do. No matter what Klaus asks, no matter what lies I have to tell or secrets I have to keep, I'll do it. No matter what it takes. "Stefan's voice over said.

Gilbert Residence

Emely's Pov

I open my bedroom door.
Damon walks into my room.

What are you doing? "I asked confused.
Where's Stefan? "He asked.
Okay, uh, good morning to you too. "I said surprised.
He's not answering his phone and he's not here, which you know, big deal, we've only got a killer vampire hunter on the loose. "He said ignoring my comment.

I haven't talked to him yet today. "I told him.
Hmm. "He hummed.
He walks towards me and sticks out his hand.

Give me your phone. Maybe he's dodging me. "He said.
I start digging through my bag for my phone.
Why would he be dodging you? "I asked
Oh, I don't know, maybe the hot, sweaty dance party business. "He said sarcastically.
I look up.

I figured you spilled your guilty, little guts the minute I left last night. "He said.

I didn't say anything and continue to search for my phone.

Ohhh, you didn't tell him, did you? "He asked smirking.

No, Damon. I didn't tell him that I got high on blood like some crackhead and then dirty danced with you. Or that you kissed me. It was a mistake, okay? I wasn't myself and besides, he's already got enough to deal with trying to get me through this vampire stuff. I don't need to add more to him. "I said annoyed.

I hand him my phone.
He dials Stefan.

No, I see, it's just a classic shame spiral. "He said.
I'm not in a shame spiral. "I said rolling my eyes.
Oh, you so are. Newbie vampire remorse? Oof, it's worse than a hangover. "He responded.
