Island

It's morning.

Me, Shane, Stefan, Damon, Jeremy, Bonnie, Rebekah, and Elena form a group.

Congratulations. We made it. "Prof. Shane said.

We all unload, each with varying expressions of uncertainty and curiosity we take in our new surroundings.

I was trying to help Stefan tie a knot with some rope, but he keeps trying to do it himself.

I sighed.

Rebekah is standing there glaring at Elena as she walks past.

You know, you're not really helping. "I stated.
You're both perfectly capable of tying a knot. "Rebekah said.
You giving Elena the evil eye, it's not really helping. "Stefan said.

She killed my brother, tried to get you to put a dagger in my back. Manipulated Emely to go on a run so she could kill my brother. She's lucky all she's getting is the evil eye. "Rebekah stated.

You know I can hear you, right? Your going to let her talk about me like that? "Elena asked me.

Pretty much. "I said rolling my eyes.
You know I don't care, right? "Rebekah asked smiling.

Elena stops walking, and vamp-speeds towards Rebekah, grabbing her neck and pointing the white oak stake at her chest.
Rebekah flips her over and pushes her to the ground.

Go ahead, try and kill me. But then you'd have to face your real problems. Like the fact that Stefan invited me here, himself. Or that Emely likes me better than you. I guess they like me more than you. "She told her.

Rebekah walks off, Stefan offers to help Elena up, but she ignores him and walks away looking irritated.

Elena shoves the white oak stake into her bag.

Me and Damon join her.

Looks like someone forgot her team-building exercises. "I taunted smirking.
I'm not apologizing for not wanting her here. "She said.

You know Stefan just brought her here to make it seem like he's moving on. He wants me to think that he's over me, and he wants Damon to think that he can't get under his skin. "I told her.

You know, you're right. With any luck, I'll only have to tolerate her for a few more days, and then we'll find the cure and I'll never have to deal with her again. "Elena said

Human Rebekah...I can't imagine her without fangs. "Damon said.
You know, you've never talked about what you'll do with the cure, once we find it. Will you take it? "Elena asked him.

Now I'm curious.

I don't like to speculate. "Damon answered.

10 Mins Later

We're still hiking.
Shane gets out his phone but it beeps like it has no service.

Satellite phone lost its signal. "Shane said.

You what I'm gonna call him Shane now.

Well, that's a good sign. "Damon said sarcastically.
Is anyone else a little creeped out? "Elena asked.

So then leave. Out of everyone, your presence is the least necessary. "Rebekah said.

Please don't start. "Stefan told her.

I'm merely stating the facts. Jeremy has the spell on his body. Bonnie is the witch that unseals the cure. Emely is that hybrid witch that can protect all of us, if anything goes wrong. Shane is the human compass. You and I have the tombstone, which does god knows what. And Elena has no point. "Rebekah said.
