Chapter Fifteen

It was Saturday and I was just laying in bed watching covers on Youtube. I was currently watching Arianna Jonae's cover of The Cure by Lady Gaga.

My phone began to vibrate and Sloan's nunber popped up. I let it ring a few more times before I answerd it.

Me: Hello?

Sloan: Hi Sasha.

Me: Do you need something?

Sloan: Yes um...last time you came by I wasnt home. I am now if you want to drop by.

Me: I dont think I want to.

Sloan: Please Sasha. Let me explain..please.

Me: Okay whatever.

I hung up before she could say anything else. I sat my phone down and looked at my flat screen tv.

Me: Im actually hungry.

I got up and grabbed my crossbody. I saw a twenty dollar bill and nodded.

Me: McDonald's it is.

I headed into the bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face. After my thirteen minute shower, I was slipping into a pair of leggings and a old long sleeve. I put on my black uggs.

I was walking out door about fifteen minutes later.

After my McDonald's stop and getting gas, I was now oulling into Sloan's driveway. I grabbed my cup and got out. I locked the doors before I went up to the door and knocked.

The door opened to reveal a short girl.

Girl: Sasha?

Me: I am. Is Sloan not here?

Girl: Im Keenan, Sloan's girlfriend and Sloan actually is here for once, c'mon in.

I stepped in the house and smiled at Keenan.

Me: Nice to meet you, Keenan.

Keenan: You as well. Follow me.

I followed her into the living room and saw Sloan on the couch playing Candy Crush. She looked up and slipped her phone away. I went and sat on the love seat beside her couch.

Keenan: I have a few errands to run, I'll be back later.

Sloan: Okay.

Keenan kissed Sloan's head before giving me a smile and walking out after I returned it. I then looked at Sloan.

Me: So, go ahead.

Sloan: When I moved down here, I didn't know anyone. I made some friends which happened to be Alex and Mia. Mia introduced me to some of her other friends and I sort of ditched Alex for them. I told Alex to come with me but she didnt hang with Mia's other friends. I became even closer to Mia and her friends and I slowly began to forget about Alex, even though she was texting and calling me everyday. I just wanted more than two friends. When you moved down here I wanted to hang with you more because I havent seen you in a while but they told me if I hung with you then I couldnt hang with them. So I distanced myself from you and said those hurtful words to you.

Me: So let me get this straight. You hurt me, your blood family for some rude people who you call friends?

She looked down and nodded. I saw tears roll down her cheek.

Sloan: If I could take it back, I would. No hesitation, but I can't and Im sorry. Im so sorry.

I continued to look and say nothing.
