As I appeared in the pavilion besides Mr D, everyone frowned but as Hazel ran to me, I saw Annabeth's confusion... I tried not to flinch at my half sister's touch and thankfully I succeeded in telling myself she couldn't hurt me if I tried. I was a minor god.

"What happened to your eyes?" I smiled weakly. "Father said its my other powers kicking in." She nodded buying my lie and as I looked to the rest of the seven, I noticed Annabeth's aura showing she was plotting. I smirked internally and as I drew away, I smiled weakly.

"I have to train." She nodded and as I caught Mr D's look, he nodded, before I slowly walked away. He followed a few minutes and as we trained, a crowd gathered. We spoke to each other through the mind link, and as the crowd cheered for me, I disarmed.

He took my blade, and the ground shook, causing him to stumble. He dropped the blades and as I held them at his throat, he laughed. "That was a nice trick." I smiled weakly and helped him up as some of the girls tried flirted. Forgetting that I am gay...

"So what did your father say about your powers?" I smiled, weakly. "Well he said I was stronger, and that my eyes changed because of the new powers." He nodded. "You know Zeus would want to know, he is after all paranoid." I nodded as the sky flashed with thunder.

Mr D shrugged. "Was that meant to do something?!" I sniggered before it rain on him. He gasped before sighing. "Okay, okay I'm sorry I take it back." It stopped and sunshine came through. "Stop smiling." I bit my tongue. "I'm sorry, I do apologise." I spoke at Mr D.

"Cocky sod!" I shrugged and he raised his blade. "Again." I nodded and blocked as he lunged. "What else did your father say?" "He said I have to learn how to control it and to hide my scent." He nodded again as I disarmed him, flying backwards with his blade.

"You missed the bit where you could fly." He spoke. "Levitate actually, like a ghost but close enough." He glared at me. "Your lucky I'm actually terrified of Hades." I chuckled and vines grabbed my ankles. I set them on fire with Greek fire; as I did so he glared.

"And you missed that one." "In fairness I didn't know I could do that." He nodded and slowly I handed him his blade. "Maybe we should see what else you can do and lay off the training." I nodded weakly, as I cracked the ground. "Well then if everyone leaves..."

The statement wasn't up for debate and as everyone left, we hid our blades. "Let's start with the ground, we know you can summon skeletons, let's see whether you can do anything else." I nodded once again and as I looked at him, he nodded, and I focused on it.

I trapped his feet in the dirt and as he tried to get out, I clenched my hands into fists. And when I looked at him he looked impressed. I let him go, and as he escaped, he nodded. "Well you can will the dirt to your advantage, your strong..."

He paused for a moment, before continuing. "Really strong." I smiled weakly, and he bit his lip. "What could you do with the shadows before?" I thought about it for a few minutes. "I could travel, use as a distraction, and use the shadows to block out light when angry."

He nodded again. "Try lifting me up with them." I nodded and willed a hand that launched out and grabbed him. "Strength..." He spoke choking for unnecessary air. I dropped him and he groaned. "Thanks." "Sorry." He nodded and stood up. "Auras, umm can you read them?" I nodded numbly.

"I can read your feelings, and I can read what your planning, for you it's to sleep." He chuckled softly just as the horn sounded for lunch. We waited until everyone else had disappeared and as we walked slowly I spoke. "Can I eat normal food?" He nodded yes. Thankfully.

But as we entered the pavilion, Annabeth came up to me and the metal all around bent in an odd angle. "Woops." He chuckled besides me, and thankfully I managed to get them back to normal... "Can we talk?" "I'm afraid not." Mr D spoke. "See Nico needs to eat."

She frowned at him and he smiled. "Us gods forget you eat." I smiled, weakly. "That you do." He nodded and as he glared I slowly walked away, to the big three table. I sat down, and Jason and Percy looked up in confusion. "Where were you really Nico?" "Olympus."

They didn't buy it but it was the truth. "For three days?" I nodded. "Me and my father had a lot to talk about, what with me also being the ghost king." I spoke. Jason nodded finally buying it but as I turned to Mr D, he caught my gaze.

"Does Mr D know something?" "He knows of what I was discussing with my father, but ever since Tartarus, my father has been protective so he asked Mr D to look out for me, unfortunately." I spoke, as Jason nodded.

"Never pegged your father as the protective type." Annabeth spoke sitting next to me. The room turned darker, and Mr D coughed lightly causing me to pull them back. "My father is the protective type and he hates it when people hurt me in anyway." I spoke. "Is that why you stay away from civilisation?" Frank spoke softly, kissing Hazel.
I glared at him and he held up his hands in surrender before sitting besides her. "No, I stay away from civilisation because your annoying." Leo rolled his eyes and as I took a bite of chicken, I spat it out. "That's cold." I spoke as Greek fire lit it.

"That's cheating." Hazel spoke. I rolled my eyes and once it was done, I began to dig in.

|When Hazel meant his eyes she means that Nico had hazel eyes but now they are the ones at the top due to his domains.
