When the night slowly came upon us, I sat up in bed watching curiously as Nico paced, mumbling in Italian. "You know if you pace anymore I will be sick." He halted his movements, rolling his eyes. "Just sleep Percy." "I can't with all your pacing." He sighed before sitting down.

He was silent for a few minutes and as I curled up, closing my eyes I heard him drumming his fingers off the table. "Stop." I mumbled. He did so and as my eyes fluttered open I saw he was pacing. I sat up slowly and grabbed his wrist, pulling him to the bed.

He sat down besides me and as I sat up, I looked him in the eye. "What's troubling you?" "Nothing." I narrowed my eyes at him and sat on my legs moving closer. I placed my hand on his shoulders and smiled weakly. "It's clearly something."

He sighed and looked downwards. "Apparently Annabeth is raging war, and..." "You blame yourself." He nodded and slowly I wrapped him in my arms. He tensed before relaxing. "I wish I could forget or at least stayed dead." I drew away shaking my head. "Don't say the last bit." "Why...gods this wouldn't be happening if..." "Don't you dare finish that sentence Nico Di Angelo. I have lost way to many people and I'm glad your a minor god." He went to speak but I cut him off. "The only one to blame is her, the one that let her jealousy get in the way." He sighed and looked down. "I don't get one thing." "And that is?" "Why is she jealous of me?" He spoke looking me in the eye.

My mind went into overload but in reply I shrugged lying through my actions. "I don't know." "Percy don't lie to me, please." I bit my lip looking away as s slight blush coated my cheeks. "Nico, please don't make me say it, I'm tired and I want to sleep without you pacing." I heard him sigh, and then the bed creaked. "I'll be in the living room if you need me." I nodded weakly, feeling sad that he was leaving. But once he got to the door he froze. "Goodnight Percy." "Night." I mumbled before he opened the door and closed it behind him, switching off the light.

A sigh escaped my lips and slowly I laid down pulling the cover over me before looking at the fall moon and drifting off to sleep.
