As I heard the laughter of the other three, I frowned. I knew I was not like the other children of Athena and I was sure that I would barely be noticed here but as Triton entered my room. I sat up slowly and bit lip as I fiddled with the blanket.

"Your staying?" He nodded. "I have to, but I'm also going to give Nico and Percy some space." I smiled weakly. "So your left with me." He shrugged. "So." I bit my lip looking down. The bed creaked and I bit my lip harder. "What's troubling you?" I shook my head. "Nothing." I spoke. "Don't lie to me Malcolm." I shook my head. "I'm not lying." I spoke, laying back and curling up on my side. I closed my eyes, and as I felt the tears fall, I buried my face in the pillow. "Hey tell me when your ready." I nodded weakly and as he rubbed my back, I relaxed his touch.

Once my tears stopped falling, I bit my lip as my eyes fluttered open. "Sorry." I mumbled. "It's fine." He spoke. He shrugged, and as I sat up, I grabbed the book. I switched on the light. "Do you always do that?" "No." I spoke and as my dyslexia grew worse, I threw the book. "Fucking brain." He picked it up and opened the book. "You want me to read it aloud?" "Children of Poseidon can read?" He chuckled shoving me lightly. "Cheek." I chuckled softly and slowly he began, but by the end of it I frowned. "That's a stupid book." He chuckled again. "It's William Shakespeare, back in that day it was awesome." "Oldie." He tickled me and I squeaked in surprise. He laughed harder and I glared at him. "I'm sorry." He spoke, though he looked as though it was a lie.

"Finished?" I spoke softly. He shook his head no. "I can see why..." He trailed off and I bit my lip. "Hey you should sleep." "I'm not tired." I spoke. He nodded and when we fell in silence, I bit my lip. "You don't blame me and my mother for what's happening do you?" "No I don't. I only blame her!" I nodded numbly before looking down. He lifted me up to face him. "Is that why you cried?" "Partly." I spoke. He frowned. "I'm just overwhelmed, and I just want to forget for a little." He nodded and as I bit my lip, I frowned. "How do you forget things?" "Honestly, sex." I bit harder on my lip, and he sighed. "Well that went awkward." I chuckled softly, and as Percy screamed I placed a hand to my heart. "Shut up and sound proof the room!" Triton shouted. Percy's reply was immediate. "How?!" "Seaweed brain." I mumbled not hearing Triton's reply. And when no noise came from them, I thanked the fates.

"I heard the seaweed brain comment." He spoke. I shrugged. "So? Every child of Poseidon is a seaweed brain." I spoke. "I'm a child of Poseidon." I chuckled nervously. But he tickled me. I burst out laughing and after a while he halted my attempts to stop him. "Okay mercy." I spoke. He stopped and as I gasped for breath, I stared at the god, and before I knew it his lips were on mine.

His fingers entwined with mine, and as I tried to get more of the god, he drew away just a little, and as I stared in his sea green eyes, I swallowed nervously before he kissed me again. I moaned softly ignoring the embarrassment that flooded my cheeks and as he drew away, kissing my neck, I moaned.

Slowly he drew away and his mouth consumed mine once again and as my hands grabbed his shirt, he drew away lifting it over his head. He drew my attention away from him by kissing me again and as he shifted I moaned.

"Are you sure about this?" Was whispered in my ear. I nodded weakly and he kissed me again before the night turned into a late night.
