You and Zora continued down the path until you came into the bounds of Nimbasa City, and just as the sun was beginning to come up. You walked throughout the quiet streets, trying at some points to keep up with Zora. While walking down the streets, you couldn't help but window shop some of the stores. Zora got on your case a few times, but she even joined you in looking at a store which sold different types of weapons, coming from swords, to lances, to scythes, to even guns! You couldn't really focus too much on it though, despite it being very flashy. You eventually had enough of walking, since you had been walking for five hours with no break.

"I can't go on." You said panting. "I just can't. My legs feel like they're going to burn off like a Magmortar used Overheat on them!" Zora turned around, facing you, then sighed.

"Alright, we can rest for a little bit." Zora said. "But not long, we don't know if they're tracking us."

"Really wish I had enough for one of those weapons." You said sitting down. "It would make me feel like I could do something besides be an obstacle."

"We've done good so far staying out of trouble." Zora said. "If we can get to Kalos, I doubt we'll need it. Although, that sniper looked really good!"

"I know, right?" You agreed. "But I think you're right though, once we get on that ship to Kalos, we shouldn't have anything else to worry about." As you were sitting down and catching your breath, your stomach grumbled a little bit. You chuckled a little bit as Zora noticed. "Guess you can't help it if you get hungry." You admit. Zora's stomach did the exact same. When you noticed, Zora tried her best not to acknowledge it. She eventually turned her eyes towards yours, then you both laughed a little bit.

"Yeah, not going to lie, food actually sounds good right about now." Zora said.

"I don't have much," You said pulling your wallet out of your pocket. "but I'll see what this can get us. Places should be starting to open up right about now, so let's see what there is." The two of you walked down the street a little bit. People were starting to come out, and Zora pulled you to the side.

"Hold on a second (y/n)." Zora said. "Follow me into this alley way over here for a second."

"What is it?" You asked.

"When people see a Zoroark, they don't really get the best of feelings, so I'm going to shapeshift quickly, hopefully it will also de-rail our pursuers as well."

"Alright then, if you say so." You said. A few seconds later, you felt Zora grab your shoulder as she walked past you. Her disguise was pretty convincing. Black and red hair with blue eyes, a black shirt, and blue pants. She looked actually looked normal while like this. She turned her head back towards you.

"What are you waiting for? Let's get going." Zora said. You walked down the streets with Zora in her disguised form. You couldn't help but stay close to her, mainly because you a little worried that you might lose her, but also because she was really pretty when she was like this. What were you thinking? Why would you be thinking that at all? You shook your head to get yourself focused as you walked down the streets. You looked around a little bit to see what you could get. You saw a small alley way that looked like a shortcut to a place where the two of you could eat.

"Hey Zora, I think I see a place this way." You said leading Zora. As the two of you walked into the alley way, you had misjudged how far the alleyway could go, and hit a dead end. You chuckled a little nervously as you realized your error.

"Hey, don't worry about it, we all make mistakes." Zora said. "All we have to do is just turn around and-

"Don't move." A voice said quietly. You froze as you turned around and saw a pocket knife held at Zora's throat. "I said don't move!"

"Zora!"

"Wait a minute, that voice..." The man said. You saw a large, dirty grin on the figures face. His voice sounded all too familiar as well.

"Well well, looks like you've finally come out of hiding (y/n)." Trystan chuckled deviously.

"Trystan!" You said surprised.

"Glad to see that you still recognize me." Trystan said. "Now hand over everything you've got, or your girlfriend here gets it."

"He's not doing anything like that." Zora said. Zora brought her leg up, hitting Trystan where no man wants to be hit. He immediately dropped the blade and dropped to his knees. Zora then used her other leg, and slammed it against Trystan's head, sending him crashing into the wall of the building, then falling on the ground unconscious. You looked at Zora amazed.

"Holy cow Zora!" You said. "You took him out like it was nothing!" Zora faced you and blushed a little.

"Well, I guess that's what you get when your defending someone." Zora said.

"Come on, let's get out of here." You said grabbing Zora's hand. "Before he regains consciousness." As the two of you walked out of the alley way, Zora slipped her hand out of yours.

"Hold on a minute, let me get something I saw back there." Zora said going back in.

"Zora wait!" You pleaded. She went back into the dark alley way. You didn't want to go back in while Trystan was still there. She came back out holding the pocket knife that was used against her, as well as what looked like some more money.

"Put this away in your pocket." Zora said handing you the pocket knife.

"Wait a minute, Zora, did you take these from him?" You asked.

"A man who doesn't use them correctly shouldn't use them at all." Zora said. You looked at the pocket knife for a second, then stuck it in your pocket, blade retracted. You weren't for the idea, but it gave you something to help defend yourself in case the Zoroarks came. Zora grabbed your hand as you put away the extra money. You had an idea of where it came from, but you didn't want to think about it. "Hey, it's almost over." Zora said. "We're almost there." You gave a sigh.

"Yeah, I just wish this didn't have to happen." You admitted. Zora led you through the crowd of people. Thankfully no one saw the little incident that happened in the alley way, which both relieved you, and worried you a little bit. Nothing some food couldn't help fix. The two of you continued down the streets till Zora stopped you under a lamp post. "Is something wrong?" Zora pointed up. As you looked up, you saw a mistletoe hanging off the side of the lamp.

"I may not know much about your holidays." Zora said. "But I do know that this is supposed to mean something." The smile coming from her face told you she knew exactly what that something was. It was close to Christmas after all. You thought it was stupid, but you had to keep the tradition. It wouldn't be Christmas without its traditions. You leaned forward and puckered up. You felt a light peck on your lips. As you looked at Zora, she giggled a little bit. "Alright, I've had my fun, now let's get going." As Zora guided you down the road, you noticed that there were mistletoes lined up on every street lamp. You looked at Zora with a face of suspicion.

"Wait a minute." You said. "You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?" Zora laughed a little bit, then tightened her grip on your hand. Oh boy, you could see where this was going. You knew Zora was having a little too much fun with this tradition, and she was going to utilize it to its fullest extent.
