It had only been a day since you had been re-united with your parents. You explained everything to them. How she rescued you with some help, how you, her, and the second Zoroark had fled from the Unova region in hope of eluding the clan, everything. You could tell that they still had some issues with Zora, but it would have to be something that they would have to deal with or would have to verbally speak it out hopefully. The plan had gone off without a problem from what you heard and saw. When you had arrived at your place, it was a bit smaller than you hoped for, but it was just temporary. Noivern and Mawile were let out, letting them freely roam the house as well as outside. Confining everyone to the small house you had was not a good thing, which even sometimes you would walk out just to see the green. Zora would accompany you for... one reason or another.

The egg wobbled a few times, but it still had time until it would hatch, at least that's your judgement. You, your parents, and Zora were all in your house. Noivern had gone in search of some wild berries and Mawile was napping outside. You were eating some fried fish that you had made. Cooking wasn't a strong-suit, but you were getting better. Your parents were talking with each other, something important from how the conversation was going. Zora was sitting beside you, holding the egg in her lap. She leaned her head on your shoulder. It didn't trigger anything uncommon, just a small blush, the normal thing.

"Hey (Y/n)?" Zora said quietly.

"Hm?"

"I don't think your parents exactly trust me." Zora said. You gave a sigh through your nose. You had been noticing the lack of trust as well. Sometimes, it felt like you were the bigger man in the room than even your father. You looked at your parents, who were still going at it. You caught your mom glancing over towards you and Zora. It was small, but it was noticeable. You gave another sigh, this time, through the mouth, and slightly agitated.

"I think I have a feeling I know why." You said a bit disappointed.

"Should I leave so you can talk it out with them?" Zora asked.

"No." You said. "If they have something to say, they can say it to the both of us." She smiled, then pecked your cheek. You blushed, but stood up and started walking over to your parents. When they noticed you walking over towards them, they went quiet then looked at you.

"(Y/n), there's something we need to talk to you about." Your dad said.

"Same." You said. Your parents raised an eyebrow.

"You do?" Your father asked. You indicated back to Zora.

"You still don't trust Zora, do you?" You questioned. Your parents looked at you slightly astonished. Whether it was because it was false, or they were amazed that you saw it, either way, it had to be confronted.

"What makes you say that?" Mom asked.

"Well, first of all, I saw how you were looking at her." You said calmly. "Second off, you haven't even tried to talk to her, the only times you have is when she's with me."

"Son, you have to understand." Your father said. "We trust her, but it's just..."

"Just because she's a trickster?" You questioned. Your parents looked at you, their faces getting serious.

"We're concerned about what she's done to you." Your mother said.

"I've already told you what she's done." You said. "She's saved my life on multiple occasions."

"Yes, but..." Your father gave a sigh. You felt Zora wrap her arm around yours, then clutched your hand. You looked at her, then gave a sigh of your own before looking back.
