After staying there for a couple hours, you finally got everyone together to head back to your home. Sailing across the sea, you all arrived back at Melemele island in less than three hours. Walking the rest of the way to the house, you let Shadow and Lucario stay out. It was starting to turn to night, but the sun hadn't yet set. Mom and Dad were delighted to see you back and asked how you were doing out in the world. You told them how running the clan was, saying that it was hard at times, but that you were learning more and more about their culture and them in general. While it sounds daunting, as a leader, you had to go around and personally make a count of how many were in the clan itself. Torben told you that those that joined your clan, the ones that were from the Wraith's, added to another two-hundred and thirty-two. Altogether, this gave you about seven-hundred and three. The 'clan' seemed more like a village now. You might have questioned how every one of them fit in the cave if you didn't know that there were layers to the hideout itself.
Dad's Sharpedo wanted a rematch after being clobbered by Mawile in the previous battle, but Dad got him to calm down. You assured Sharpedo he'd get his match when morning came, which seemed to help simmer him a little. Mom and Dad were doing fine, having their own jobs in Hau'Oli City and making enough to get by and save some for you while also saving the rest. Now that you had been going outside more often and training, not only had you been getting stronger, but you were actually starting to get somewhat ripped as Zora would say. The statement would make you cringe every time, much to her enjoyment. This came in especially handy when Dad had you help move some stuff from his shed to an empty plot of land that he eventually wanted to make into a garden. There was a lot of heavy lifting involved, but you got all the supplies out for him to use. He called that good enough for the day as the sun was starting to fade over the ocean.
Sweating a little, but letting the wind dry you off, you stood outside for a little longer, just looking over the ocean as the sun slowly went away. You had your hands in your pockets, just taking in the scene around you. Stars were already starting to shine faintly through the sky. Soon, the moon would rise, and things would calm down. However, not everything would be as calm. You heard a few faint crashes of lightning in the distance, looking to your left and seeing a small storm coming from the ocean. Still, the view was nice.
Returning back inside, Lucario was actually sitting down and reading a book. That was a bit surprising, but then again, your team of Pokémon were already doing things that were both weird and shouldn't be possible in the first place. Zora and Shadow weren't anywhere in sight. You were about to go look for Zora when your name was called out.
"(Y/n)?" You stopped, turning your head and looking at Mom who was in the kitchen. You paused, looking at her for a second while she was organizing the cabinets. The voice was definitely feminine, but it wasn't your-
"Over here." You turned your head again, this time more to the right and saw Lucario looking at you. Now it made some more sense. Relaxing a little, you sighed as you looked at Lucario.
"So, you're finally talking with me now." You said. You were speaking through your mind, since any verbal conversation would have likely confused your mom and made things awkward. Lucario set down the book on the table in front of her, looking a little embarrassed.
"Sorry I haven't been so talkative to you, now that I've evolved, it's become easier for me to understand what you say and how to finally talk with you telepathically." You waved your hand back a little bit, trying to dismiss it.
"Don't think too much on it. Everyone has their own quirks."
"That's what I was kind of hoping to talk to you about." She admitted. You raised an eyebrow, then started to walk around and sit down on the couch.
