I know to many of you world builders out there, I am looking at you ArbreEcore , who spends hours upon hours of inventing the magic system of your world, but hasn't have a single word down on it's first chapter of his book (hehe xd) I know some of you out there write books for the sole purpose of world build, but if you read part 1.5 I already explained my reasoning why I don't elaborate or go super far into world build right of the bat. But assuming you have followed part 1.5, then you will know I personally would only go as far as an abstract world build in the beginning. And to do that, you must first ask yourself a few things:

What is my plot going to be like?

How are my characters going to fit into this environment?

And if you want certain settings, then the above 2 things, maybe have to be compromised to a certain degree.

After you are done with that, it is time to ask yourself the next set of questions (unless it is IRL setting):

What clothes do people in this world?

What music do they listen to?

What is their culture like?

Who holds the power in this world?

How does this (certain setting that only exist in this world) effect the people of this world?

What are the wildlife and animals like in this world?

What language do they speak?

What races are there?

What do they eat?

What is their religion? Or do they not have one?

Once you have answered all those questions, you are ready to move on xd

Exp:

Title: I been teloported into a world determined by power level

Setting: It's pretty much IRL setting, except in a different universe Xd
