"Oh, that's a drone," I said still struggling with the ropes and winced when I saw the effects of the holy water on the demons.
"A-A what..." Claude asked and I finally broke through the ropes holding Sebastian.
"go help Undertaker," I shouted gesturing to the direction where the shinigami stood. The large mass of demons had gotten braver and were edging closer to the drone. When I got Claude free I hurried over to check the battery percentage on the drone. It was beginning to run low with about 25% remaining. I was reaching into my backpack when a blur of white shot into my hand. Blood, bright and sticky dribbled from my hand. I screamed and dropped the backpack.
"How disgusting," murmured a voice, " a human helping a demon. "
I winced, holding my hand and turned to face the angel.
"Annabell!" Shouted the Undertaker. I backed away, now desperately wishing I had a weapon.
"What are you doing here?" I asked. It took all my effort to keep my voice steady, the pain of my injury causing me to lose focus.
"It is not something such a minuscule creature could understand..."
"In the first season there was another angel like you, they called themselves both Ash and Angela. You have some connection to them don't you." I hissed in pain as I removed the feather from my hand. By now Sebastian and Claude had dealt with the lesser demons and had gathered behind me. It had just occurred to me, at that moment, that Aloise was not among us... he had been there just a second ago when I had freed Claude hadn't he?
Wait, no.
Aloise wasn't there, and he wasn't at my home either because the Undertaker would have brought him there...
My mind was whirling when I was roughly pushed aside by Sebastian. The fight had picked up once again, and I ducked as a flurry of angel feathers gouged themselves into trees, plants, and narrowly avoided my legs.
"Oh, and I learned well from my teacher..." The angel trailed off menacingly as two other angels stepped out from behind a tree. I was about to scream for help. If there were any humans around to help us...
The angel nearest to me knocked me out before I could make a sound.
